I like the idea of making my own biltong and I was attracted to the idea of buying my own spices and having a go myself. What I would say is that it is very,very salty. If you can get over that then it’s not bad good. I would also have preferred a recipe or something on the back of the pack to keep me right as it’s been real trial and error but I think I’m getting there. I’ve added extra ingredients like coriander and a pinch of chilli flakes to my mix and this helps slightly to counter the salty taste.
