Excellent choice!
This is a very high quality beginner bow. It comes with 5 quality Easton arrows, a cheesy quiver and an arm guard. Add a tab and you're all set. This bow will be used by our grandson participating in the school NASP program.

Great bow for getting into archery
Bought for twin grandsons as gifts. They love them. I bought two. Different colors! They are in archery club in middle school and this is what the school has.

Perfect Starter!
Great start bow for my teen girl. Not a lot of strength, easy to tune to her exact draw weight! Shoots great also!

Very strong and lots of power
This is a greta bow . It is very strong and powerful. I recommend having targets made or getting 3D targets for better practice. Good bow for anyone. I really like this brand

Five Stars -- Good Product
My husband is an outdoorsman. I am a dedicated bookworm. I decided to purchase this bow to get some fresh air, exercise, and share one of his interests. I will never use anything to kill an animal -- even though I eat hamburgers, I will still shop for my groceries. This bow is for target practice only -- it is not a hunting bow. I am petite, so I do not have the strength to draw back a bow that is over the young adult limit -- the further back you draw the bow, the more poundage you get -- I am at the 25 lb. range for now. This bow is excellent as it adjusts to your draw. So far, I have shot arrows at 10 - 15 yards. This is a small range. We go to a park and, of course, the yards are marked. I recommend purchasing additional accessories -- such as, a whisker biscuit (this is a circular object with a dense plastic encompassing fringe) to hold your arrow in place. Also, a Tru-Glo, three pin scope (or scope of your choice). And finally, (very important) a peep sight (you line up (halo) the peep sight with the pin (dead center)in the scope), IMPT --get a peep sight that doesn't twist; it must have a rubber tube. If you purchase these items, have them set-up by a specialist (called a bow-tech)at a sporting good store. Two more items -- a better arm guard, although the kit comes with one. And, a release for the bow, is not necessary, but makes shooting easier. I love this bow and recommend it to anyone that is a beginner. My husband has a block with a target on it. He puts it on an old table at the park for target practice. He has a hi-tech compound bow, but has shot this bow and said it is a good product. He also said that the arrows are a good quality.

Perfect father/son bow to get started in archery
I'm 41 and my son is 9. We both have never shot a compound bow before. We bought this one after researching and seeing that it's supposedly good for an adult and child. I was not disappointed. Both my son and I can easily shoot it at 10-20 yards and shoot effectively. If he and I are shooting I keep it a little light. It's still able to accurately hit 20 yards. If I want to go further I tighten it up with the Allen key that came along with it. The goal is to practice for a year or two and eventually move to hunting. I'll most likely upgrade to a different bow but he can easily keep this one and grow with it. I really don't see any downside to this bow and what we wanted it for. It was our intro bow to learn how to shoot properly and its that 100%. Huge value for money. Having the arrows come with it is huge. The only thing that I would say is needed is a target to shoot at. We bought a foam cube at Walmart. Enjoy!
