STAS Art Hanging Set: STAS j-Rail max Steel Rod Silver 4x4 150cm + Hook

The 36 inch rods came with only one hanger hook. I had to call the company to finally get more of the same hooks so as to hang several art pictures on one rod. I used standard art display racks but could not get the rods to lay against the racks. All in all they were unsatisfactory for my use.

This is a great way to be able to change art work without leaving holes. The rod is for a very large, heavy painting, and works well for that.

This is a cumbersome system. It works though. We had to put duct tape on the plastic upright that the hook “runs” on to keep it from sliding off entirely. Good thing we were hanging light canvas.

The hooks do not stay in place. I had to replace them with hand screw versions and they protrude out to far. The art work flops around. The rods are fine and the rail is fine but very dissatisfied with the hooks.
