These are smaller than I thought but worked perfectly for what I needed . The extra tools are a great bonus!

Handy to have these tools and molds for cake making. The molds are small so if doing a huge cake it takes some work and practice, but also allows you to work in small sections... Im still learning so still coming up with my own way that works for me, but they are definitely handy!

I use these for making impressions in pottery clay slabs and they work great! They release easily from the slab, and the clay doesn’t stick in the mold. Great value for the money!

For context - I’m no professional baker. But I do like to make all my daughter and husbands cakes myself (from scratch). So while certainly no expert, I do have some baking/cake experience.Pro - this is inexpensive and comes in some pretty versatile patterns.Cons - the molds are small and hard plastic, slightly warped, with hard plastic lips/edges around all sides. This ends up making it very hard to make an impression over an area larger than the mold. I tried bending/curving the mold to make good impressions without leaving the edge marks or cutting too deeply into the fondant I was working with, but it was very difficult. I wasn’t able to capture a solid pattern but made due by having some good impressions overlapping some more faint impressions of the pattern.Bottom line: your best bet to avoid frustration and meet expectations is a softer/flexible (eg silicone) mold without edges.

Impression mat worked great but the tools were a little on the cheap plastic side.
