I can do the math Though it's listed diameter is 9 inches, its interior edge to edge diameter is only 8 inches. Its interior height is 4 inches. So the volume is pi * the radius squared * the height: 3.14*4 (squared) * 4 = ~201 cubic inches. That translates approximately 111.4 ounces or 13.2 cups or 7 pints or 0.87 gallons. Hope that helps.

Is the name Waterford etched in the glass? Should be on the bottom.

No, it's not there as far as I can see. From my understanding, marquis by Waterford IS Waterford, but not the top-of-the-line Waterford. I may be wrong but that's my understanding. It's still gorgeous and lovely and I have many many pieces of it!

It's Waterford, so it is a quality product, I would hand wash but as long it can be used, it should last til it is broken that could be tomorrow or a hundred years from now, it all depends on how it is cared for, it is glass but heavy not fragile. Hope this helps
