KEF S2 Speaker Stand (Pair, Royal Blue)

These are the highest quality speaker stands I have come across. They were super easy to assemble and match the paint and look of the speakers perfectly. I wouldn’t put the KEFs on anything else. They deserve this throne! They are super heavy and hefty (so my cats dont knock them down) and the density of the steel does a great job isolating the speakers from the ground improving the sound quality. These towers are incredibly functional, especially when paired with the KEF speakers. The wires are tucked away inside of the tower for a clean look. While on the expensive side, there is no substitution for quality. The value is there. They are perfectly sized to the speakers, and proper height for intense listening sessions. Would buy again and again.

Simply Perfect. They look amazing. The height of these speakers and the ability to really place them correctly completely changes how they sound - after setting my wireless LS50 on these, I actually wondered why I got the subwoofer. Yes, I know, any cheap stands would let you do the same/similar, but these just look amazing and have the build quality to match. Great wire management as well - especially for my wireless setup.

Love the fit and polish, and ease of assembly. It’s worth purchasing for this reason, but it is perilously close to hitting the limit of marginal returns, price-wise.

The carpet spikes require magnifying glasses for anyone over 40. There are tiny set screws holding them in place after the spike has been screwed into the base. I've sniffed in midges that were bigger than these tiny pot-metal set screws.If you decide to use the spikes, be aware that they're made of cheap metal and will be extremely difficult to remove in a coupe of years. I ended up using an angle grinder. The little crappy wrench that they supply is made out of silver pasta, and will get lost anyway.KEF says you should always use the spikes, and they provide smaller-than-a-us-quarter sized "cups" for the spikes to sit in if you have a hard floor. The cups have a very very small dent in the center, into which the spikes must go if you don't want them to slip off and ruin your floor. Forget about moving the speakers; the spikes hop out of the cups at the slightest jostle.Engineers should really learn to let actual people do usability testing outside of the lab. Infuriating. There are a zillion better, cheaper options on the market. Take a pass.

Obviously these stands are a bit overpriced for what they offer, but they are nice stands. I've always used Sanus Systems Steel Series stands for my smaller speakers, which are far less expensive than these KEF stands; however, I will say that the KEF stands are a step up in overall quality. I love how they look with the matching color of LS50 Meta speakers, and I love that I was able to screw the speakers onto the stands for greater stability and better sound (supposedly). I filled them with sand, too.One drawback (depending on your preference) with these compared to Sanus speaker stands that I've used is that the way the adjustable spikes work is more tedious than how Sanus does it (with a nut you tighten down after you get the spike in the right position). With the KEF stands, you turn the spike with a mini wrench (included) and once you have it where you want it, you then screw in one of those little side screws into a small hole to pin the spike in place. It's not terrible, but it takes quite a bit more effort to get it done. I also wonder what damage that side screw/pin does to the thread of the spike where it makes contact. It does look better than the nut method, but who looks at the spikes under the stand, anyway?Still, overall, if you have matching KEF speakers, it might be worth it for you to get these stands. I sure love them and don't regret spending the extra money.

I was skeptical shelling out for this high price tag item…I have the LS50 Wireless Speakers.I had been positioning them on wooden kitchen stools at (nearly) the same height as theses stands. The sound was very good, but I was beginning to miss my Devialet Phantom 2 98dB speakers…they sounded amazing, but I had to return them because of near daily Wi-Fi connection/signal dropping issues (it was maddening).I actually ordered these stands for the aesthetics (they are cool looking), to save space (stools are wide-ish) and to manage cables (power & Ethernet & hdmi).I was actually stunned by how much better the sound quality is with these stands. Noticeable improvement for sure. Don’t know why, really…but I’ll take the win!! Now liking them better than the phantom 2s !!Score!!

Super! Die Boxenständer sehen sehr edel aus und sind sehr gut verarbeitet. Einzig über das breite Mittelstück kann man streiten. Das sieht von der Seite recht massiv aus.Alles für die Montage nötige Werkzeug wird mit geliefert. Es braucht allerdings eine Wasserwaage zum Einstellen der Füsse. Und etwas Geduld, um die losen Platten unter den Füssen zu platzieren.

Demasiado caras y la base es lo más impractico que existe. Tiene una especie de monedas de plástico sobre las que se tienen que apoyar unos triángulos como picos que se atornillan a la base, pero las monedas esas tienen un fieltro o terciopelo muy delicado, que cuando mueves las bocinas, se maltrata y se desprende. Muy delicado, muy impractico y demasiado caro.
