If you're designing and making your own jewelry or just replacing the cord for a keepsake, this kit is great.

This is real leather and it has not yet been shaped. After I make a neckband for a particular client, I have to stretch the leather so it holds the pendant at the center of the cord. Because the leather is wound up in short circles the bends have to be removed by stretching the leather cord via the length requested. This can take several days to get the kinks out, but at least the customer will have a real leather neck cord for their necklace. Because of the extra time, it takes to create a leather neck cord, I lose several customers.

Just getting started making braclets. This is a nice kit to start with. Good product easy to work with.

I was looking for non waxed leather cord so these are useless to me. The closures only fit 1 piece of leather in there so it's hard to braid these since you can't close in on them. Totally useless for what I'm doing. These were definitely a waste of my money

Genuine leather cording! You can smell the leather. First order showed up without the findings. I alerted the seller who immediately got back to me and sent me another set straight away complete with findings! Great customer service goes a long way! Highly recommend and will buy again!

Had a hanging stone necklace that was given to me by close friend, but cord was too short. Bought this kit and fashioned a new cord. Only one thing I'd recommend doing, the rings after you close them can be soldered with some tin and soldering iron for permanence. Also adding some super glue where you clamp them to leather cord could add extra durability. Other than that, it's quick and everything can be done with a pair of pliers.

I've never made my own necklaces, but this set was easy. Made cords for pendants. Decent material. The hardware is more grayish-stainless steel looking than "silver" looking. But worked fine for me.
