Kitchen Selectives Cool-Touch 2 Slice Toaster - Lime Green

Little on the cheap side, won't take a whole slice of the brand of bread l use. Needs a better Browning selector, also, a button to push to pop it up sooner in case you need to.

I was so excited for this toaster as it matches my Kitchenaid mixer. However, the first time I used it to simply heat a frozen waffle, the whole apartment smelled like burnt plastic. I took the waffle out (it also tasted like burnt plastic) and double checked the whole toaster to make sure I hadn't missed any of the plastic wrappings. There was no sign of it anywhere. I returned the toaster.

Very poor quality for the price

Browns the bread more on one side than the other.

The color is exactly what I wanted. It toasts nicely.

Tried using and smelled like a burning plastic

It broke in 3.5 months. The lever to engage the toast function will not stay engaged/downs. It worked very nicely until without warning this happened.
