Gets my teenager "unplugged" and fights off technology induced boredom (Mom-1, Technology-0).
I bought this to put in my teenage daughter's Easter basket. I hadn't seen these before and since she enjoys adult coloring books, I thought why not adult dot-to-dots as well? Let's face it, teenage Easter baskets are not easy to fill.If you are not familiar with these extreme dot-to-dots, let me tell you, they ARE extreme. This book contains 42 different connect-the-dots, and some of them have numbers that go up in the thousands. The numbers are quite small and some are printed lighter so if you have trouble reading fine print, these may be hard to see. I suggest using a ruler or straightedge for precise lines and doing it in PENCIL. The first one, my daughter tried to do with gel pens. She wanted certain parts of the structure in specific colors, but she messed up. The next number isn't always where you might expect it to be. She quickly learned that a fine mechanical pencil (she uses a .5 mm) works best. The paper in this book is a nice, heavy weight, not quite cardstock, but definitely thicker than your average puzzle book or plain paper. It also has perforated pages so you can easily remove them. The back of each page has a few clues for the next famous place. Some you can tell by the position of the numbers, but some you can't. There is an "answer key" in the back of the book showing each dot-to-dot completed so you can choose what place you want to do if you don't want to be surprised. These are a lot of fun and provide a good distraction for relaxing or stress relief. Like any good puzzle, they are great for relieving boredom, a common symptom of the technology overloaded teen. My daughter is enjoying this pastime and anything that keeps her "unplugged" is a win in my book.

Lovely book :-)
Absolutely love this book! I’m used to searching forever for the next dot (those books where they use open circles to drag you halfway across the page) but this one is continuous and therefore more relaxing.I’m also a fan of the way they made some of the dots different shades of gray to distinguish them when they’re all bunched together. The print is on the smaller side, so this definitely helps.Beautiful pictures, cute little fun facts to go with them. 10/10!!!

Good for relaxing!
Sometimes the numbers & corresponding dots are hard to see because they're very tiny & printed so close together, but there's no way to avoid it with each picture containing over 1,000 dots! This book is a fun way to relax & creates some pretty awesome pictures. I use a small magnifying glass to help see some of the numbers that are clumped together. If you have trouble seeing the smaller print on something like a medication box or newspaper, you may want to think twice about ordering since the numbers are very small. Otherwise, this is a great buy & worth it 👍🏽

Very fun for puzzle solvers
I am absolutely in love with this. I am a hard worker and this has just really helped reduce my anxiety and my stress levels. The price is very cheap and it's very durable. It also does not weigh that much.

Really great pictures but...
I bought this book along with another extreme connect the dot book to compare them. At first this book was the clear winner, now not so much. I would highly suggest pencils or erasable pens to do these puzzles. The dots are super close together and at times hard to see. The paper is thick enough to support a lot of heavy duty pencil and eraser wear which is great! The hints in the back are also incredibly helpful; they not only provide a clear picture of the completed puzzle but it also shows the numbering of the dots instead of just the lines. However, as I started doing more puzzles there are things that other extreme connect the dot books do better. First, the shading on some of the numbers is WAY too light. At first I thought it was a mistake but as I kept going I realized it was intentional. They did that to help you differentiate which dot belonged to which number. It's great in theory but poor in practice. As more numbers are added it gets REALLY challenging to see the lighter dots. There also doesn't seem to be a pattern to it either, some dots are lighter while others aren't. Secondly, the dot placement doesn't always make sense. With these types of books there's always some sort of pattern to follow. This book had me looking all over the place for a number...only to find out it didn't exist; which is my third complaint. Some of these puzzles omit several numbers or have several duplicate numbers in random places. For example my Great Wall of China has 8 different duplicate numbers. These numbers are mostly in the 900-1000 range and the placement of SOME of these duplicate numbers really messes up the picture. This book could be GREAT but as for now it's mostly meh.
