We use it with all our tile games. I like the solid color. It is tricky to roll up and return to the bag.

This is the third one we've purchased for my mother-in-law for her mah jongg table. The first one she kept and the others she gave to friends who liked the one she had. It is thick enough to absorb a lot of the sound of the tiles and think enough not to bounce the tiles around. She loves it.

I liked the weight of it ,meaning that it doesn’t slide around the table. At the same time, it folds and rolls nicely and fits into my mah Jongg bag.

This mat is wonderful! The surface was smooth but not slick and the mah Jongg tile pushers moved smoothly and the mat certainly protected my table surface and the tiles themselves.Yes, there was a strange smell initially but I simply draped the mat over my bannister for a couple of days and any oder disappeared. No washing just a good airing out indoors.Would definitely purchase again if the need arises.Helen

This is my second mat. First one lasted about 6 years and I used it every week. This new one is a little lighter and rolls up easy to go into sleeve. Lays flat on table and corners do not turn up.

Nice for sliding tiles and has a really good grip!

I like the mat but it was not inexpensive . You pay what you get for. What disappointed me about the mat is I thought that the carrying case had a strap. It does not have a strap so you have to just carry it in your hand and it isn’t rigid, so it wants to bend somewhat. I was really shocked. There was no strap so you could throw it over your shoulder. For the price that wouldn’t have cost that much to add that small detail. I did like it though. The strap is the only reason I didn’t give it five stars.

We bought this one specifically for the carrying case/ storage bag. Keeps everything neat and clean and stored when not in use. We already have a folding game table with the appropriate cover on it for playing mahjong at home but a traveling table pad comes in handy when we play at a friend's or we take our tiles on vacation since the whole family plays. We bought a similar pad for our son to protect his table (and cuts down on the tile noise ) but it only came with two detachable velcro straps to roll it up and no cover bag. Its awkward to roll up evenly and wrap the velcro straps and I'm afraid the loose straps will eventually get lost. So I bought another one when I discovered this one had a protective storage bag. It does not have a shoulder strap as modeled just a drawstring closure.

Weird water stains and markings right out the packaging. Other than that everything is alright
