A genuinely useful and well designed bit of kit. The Uniclife Aquarium Fish Breeding Box does exactly what it is supposed to do and does it very well. If you keep fish there are times when separation is necessary. Sick fish may need isolating, aggressive fish may need removing from the main tank, or fry may need protecting from being eaten. This breeding box provides a simple and effective solution without needing a second tank setup. The unit hangs neatly inside the aquarium and uses the existing tank water, so temperature and water conditions remain stable. That alone removes a lot of the risk associated with moving fish into a completely separate environment. Assembly is straightforward and the plastic construction is solid and clear, allowing easy observation of the fish inside. The slotted design also allows good water circulation which helps keep oxygen levels stable. One of the most useful features is the internal divider system. This allows you to separate fish if needed or create protected space for fry while still keeping everything within the same controlled environment. For anyone breeding livebearers, isolating a stressed fish, protecting fry, or temporarily separating aggressive fish, this is an extremely practical tool to have available. Brilliant breeding box. We have platy fish and I was worried reading some reviews of other breeding boxes that the fry would fall through the gaps into the tank, but the gaps are too small for the fry to fall out. They do sometimes swim back up to the adults but generally they remain at the bottom of the box. I originally had 1 pregnant platy in the box waiting to then discover another platy had started giving birth in the tank, so I had to put in the divider and catch the birthing platy to add to the breeding box. So far we have 9 baby fry. I think the rest have likely been eaten in the main tank. This is a great breeding box. Would highly recommend. I will likely buy a second to help with letting the fry grow to a big enough size before releasing them back into the main tank.

Item came exactly as described. The only downside is it’s very difficult to take off the glass when suctioned on, which is why the 4 stars. And large fish may get trapped behind it when it is suctioned on. So I would just leave it floating.

The plastic is crystal clear which is great. Unfortunately the slats are just too wide and the babies escaped into the main tank and got eaten. I'd recommend it only for babies over 1cm

Exactly what I needed when fish decided to multiple. Stays fixed to inside of tank, keeps adults and babies separate, tiny tray that come with it was perfect for putting eggs in then when they hatch the tiny babies hide under the tra. easy to see babies and easy to clean

Hi all I did my research before I buy seen many moan box is to big lid falls off and all that well the lid fits perfectly see my pictures for proof and make sure the box hangs out the water like I say see pictures for how to set up many thanks Hooe it helps and small box all the way for guppies and other small fish I have 2 baby's on mine I miss the birth and had to scoop them up

Remplit bien son rôle pour isoler un poisson des autres, et le fait de pouvoir moduler à l'intérieur est pratique pour ajuster à son besoin, il y a des trous sur les côtés pour mais laisser passer l'eau, Dans l'ensemble satisfaite de mon achat
