I bought my first pair at Zappos and this second pair, black, at Amazon, as Zappos colors and sizes were very limited at the time (I like Zappos policies and shipping much better, but again, the second shoe wasn't available). The shoe shape is ... not the most attractive, somewhat rounded and bulby like a Keen, BUT, despite that, it does look cute. My picky sister thought they were cute too, not orthopedic and clunky like many of the Dansko shoes. I like the colors, and, although some customers complained, I feel bouncy yet sturdy in the shoes. I wanted a shoe that I could wear with slacks but not uncomfortable, more like a tennis shoe-oxford tie hybrid. The uppers are very stiff so I can't tighten the lower lace area, but that isn't necessary at this time. I started wearing Dansko when I had plantar fasciitis; I had much wider feet at that time so I wouldn't have been able to wear this shoe model as it's not wide. Some folks complained that the sole was slippery on wet floors; I cannot address that I didn't want to wear them my first time in winter nor do I work on wet floors; I'm sure they would do as well as any non-snow boot on snow and ice. I can't address the arch support; I have flat arches but don't notice either way with this shoe.

I love the way these sneakers feel on my hard-to-fit feet. I have a tailor's bunion. My feet feel great in these shoes. I take a size 9, so I am used to my feet looking rather large. It doesn't normally bother me, but I noticed my feet look small in these shoes. But the shoes are roomy and feel very comfortable. It's just something about the design which looks very good.

These shoes are great for walks on uneven pavement or dirt roads, and are clearly good for hikes. There is no ankle support if you are on really difficult terrain, but great for all the rest. I had plantar fasciitis- these won’t fix it, but they won’t hurt it more.

I was having a hard time walking. I lost track and for quite some time I was wearing squishy slides and sandals which can make plantar fasciitis worse. There are a relief to wear. I can finally ambulate much better. The are area where it toes around the tongue rubbed a little bruise on me. I just folded the stiff corner away from me and it's resolved

I like these shoes for the most part. They are fairly comfortable. The ridge at the tie off point took some breaking in initially.However, my biggest beef with this shoe is the labeling of "slip resistant". I am a chef in a busy kitchen and have found that these shoes are of no use on a wet concrete floor.

I have plantar fasciitis and wore the Kuru Atom athletic shoe for a few months. They were fine until they weren't. A family friend suggested Dansko, so I order this shoe to try them out. This is not a replacement for an athletic shoe. Nor do I expect them to cure my heel pain, but instead are part of a larger plan. The shoe is stiff - supportive for sure. The bottoms are hard, but at this point it seems to work for my feet. I wear them most of the day in my home office office, taking them off a couple times during the day to some foot stretches. They appear small, perhaps due to the toe shape, and generally look nice. The size is a good fit

These shoes feel like pillows underfoot. I have NEVER found any so cushioned. I can bound down the halls of a mall for example. Fantastic! They look too casual to me, but at least they are a step up from sneakers. One problem just for me. I have a bunion. Usually I can buy one size up in Medium in any shoe and have a fit . But these , I ordered many pairs, and they all were tight. finally, there was ONE pair that was a little looser, and with two stretches from my shoemaker, they are now the most comfortable. I wish I could have found one other just like it, to make this great shoe last. The problem is that the sides of the shoe are stiff. It's not like a sneaker with a netted side that stretches by your bunion.

I've been a Dansko fan for a long time, and this new-to-me walking shoe exhibits the trademark Dansko comfort and support, but is also probably about the cutest pair of walking shoes I have ever owned!

I was expecting a lot from these shoes considering the price point, but I was disappointed.On the first day I used them at work, my right foot was uncomfortable because I could feel a blister forming on the top of my toe(the one next to the smallest).I took out the removable insole and replaced them, but still no change. These shoes are very uncomfortable so far, but I'll give them another week just in case they need to be broken in.I ordered a wide, but I'm wondering if these are a narrow fit. It's funny because it's only my right foot that's getting the blister.They feel heavy and clunky, and my right side is taking a beating from wearing them.Very disappointed. I might have to return them.

This is a really nice shoe , great quality , nice look , plenty wide enough for my foot but it was to large and they didn’t have half sizes so my heel got rubbed . Blisters sucked as a kid don’t want them now .

I am so incredibly impressed with these shoes. I have an issue with my big toe joint and it was so painful. These showed have saved my active life style. They are beyond comfortable and they don’t hurt my toe when I walk. A dream come true. Love them!
