Does the job well.
Very useful if you are keeping notes in wet environments- fishing/kayaking/boating/hiking/hunting. Bright colors of the pen itself aid in finding the pen in the aforementioned environments. Also recommend their Rite in the Rain all weather paper and note books.

Great!
I use these with my write in the rain notepads. They work very well and I am amazed how well they write in any position and any weather!

Overpriced Pen Works with Rite in the Rain.
This Pen is smaller than a regular pen which I do not like. It works perfectly with Rite in the Rain paper, so it's a mandatory item if you use their notebooks. It's stupidly overpriced and the look and feel are very dated. But it works!

Excellent reliability in the field
I have employed this pen in various field environments and it has never failed me in Central Asia or Europe. It is rugged and reliable . I strongly recommend this pen.

Good Pen, just wish it was a brighter red
This is a good pen for work. The only complaint I have is that the red is dark and blends in with my black blueprints. Wish it was a brighter red like a standard ink pen.

Works well around water on stone paper
Buy some stone paper, and this pen, and you can write in the rain or in the bathtub or hot tub or whatever. Sidenote… I tried to buy some purple ink from The fisher, space pen, folks that was supposed to be waterproof and it didn't work well compared to the black ink that this comes with this pen

Very very small
Great pens overall. However, all rite in the rain pens are very minute. If you want metal for field work, the pens are even smaller than plastic. The larger plastic are thicker and more robust, but still lack quality of build and length. If these are designed for working hands in the field…we are really not sure what hand they would actually fit besides that of a child. The retractable metal pens we have used end up failing to extend enough to be able to write. At that price, they are way too small and will not last. Plastic units are small and will not be durable enough in the field. These specific pens are the best we have found for rite in the rain. But, they are plastic and not exactly durable. We need rite in the rain pens meant for working hands in working environments. These are like Fisher Price pens intended for grown ups. The paper and pen combination is great and works very well. But, they have missed the mark for contractors and the like.

Writes well at -10C
Not tested in the rain. But at -10 Celcius, I can write a note in my car on a regular sheet of paper no problem.
