UPDATE: Broke on first use, no replyies from seller
I received my Screw Extractor on 10/30 and went on to extract the screw that had its head broken.I followed exactly the instructions on the card, used the DR bit to make the opening at slow speed, and then moved to the EX#6 bit to extract. It was going fine, slow-moving, until I heard a crack and the tip of the EX#6 bit broke.I was not putting any pressure as it was going well, but the top of the bit just broke off.I emailed the seller on 10/31, immediately stating the above and asking if they could replace the bit that broke, up to this day I have not received any answers from them, that's why I decided to rate one star, even though the rest of the bits may work fine, the way that this went one makes me rate it low.UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller that immediately sent me a complete kit as a replacement for the broken bit. I am satisfied with my purchase and the level of customer service they provided.

Good extractors for home owners
Remember these tools are not meant to extract grade 8 bolts! These are to be used for wood screws in furniture or cabinets. If you want to extract something hard purchase something for hard material.

I thought I was screwed, but this saved me!
I routinely work on my cadre of 3D printers and invariably I end up with that one recalcitrant metric hex cap screw that refuses to come out because the head has been stripped by the cheap, ill-fitting tools that come with the printers. I happened to be browsing through Amazon one night and thought I'd look to see if there was a metric screw removal kit. Sure enough, here it was! Awesome! I immediately ordered it, little did I know that after just 3 hours of actually receiving it that it would become crucial to the success of a printer modification I'm in the middle of.This kit is fantastic! I had looked for a metric screw extractor set at my local big-box store... They have very little to offer in terms of metric tools, especially small metric sizes. It is a godsend to have found this kit.The kit is very well made and packaged extremely well in an indexed, padded case that clips shut very firmly. The removal bits go all the way down to 1-2 mm screws, the kit also includes drill bits that will allow you to drill into the screw head in order to get a better bite on the head with the extractor bit.The bits fit the standard 6 mm / 1/4" shank as is commonly found and the extraction goes very quickly and easily.Valentine's Day is coming up and you'll want to tell your wife this is the kit you want.

Extractor bits great, drill bits not so much
Ok so the way this works is that 10 of the bits are mini drill bits. You have to drill into the broken screw or bolt to make a small "tunnel." The other 10 bits are the extractor bits. They need that little tunnel to have something to grip on to to pull out the bolt. The drill bit wasn't working out so I had to use my own titanium drill bits to drill the tunnel. Once I did that and swapped to the extractor bit I was done in a second. So 10/10 for the extractor bits, drill bits trash. 4 stars.Let me just say that I am thrilled to have fixed my old computer chair that had been sitting in the basement for 4 years.

Great tool for when those bolts snap off
I needed a small size extractor kit to get a snapped bolt out of my electric scooter. This kit worked great for this purpose. I used a different drill set to drill the hole, and made sure to use plenty of cutting oil to help it along. I then used the extractor bit manually with a hand driver and a wrench. It made short work of the broken bolt, I wouldn't use the extractor in an electric drill, you have much more control and feel doing it manually and you shouldn't have issues with the extractors cracking.

From Zero to Hero
My shower was leaking water out of the hadle indicating that the cartridge was cracked, probably due to the freeze we just had here in Texas. I tried to remove the hex screw that holds the handle on to the cartridge stem and it was all the way stripped, previous installer must have over tighten it. Needless to say I was screwed, I could either try to drill the screw out with a hard metal bit risking damaging the handle or trying to blackout the screw a different way. My dad who's a plumber told me to buy this screw extractor kit, so I did. Took 3 days to arrive, as soon as I got it I put it to use, literally worked on the first attempt!!! Had already bought the cartridge needed so it was ready to install. Thanks to this screw extraction kit it took me about 20 minutes and probably saved me several hundred dollars. The case is pretty tactical looking in my opinion. Very grateful for this product.

A highly effective screw extractor!
This is a precision set of well organized drill/taps plus matching extractors in a box that is designed to be functional and last a long time. I have other extractors, and not found any set to have all the components needed to do the job. The sizes in this set are perfect for the common hobbyist encounters. The problem I have run into with other extractors that I have used is that they tend to be designed to try to be too universal with long tapered points. These slender tips tend to get wedged and then break inside the screw. This Werkzeug design has overcome that by truncating the tip so that just the most strengthened part of the extractor is being stressed in the extraction process.I highly recommend this extractor set! Plus, the price is excellent. Thanks!

This set is Junk
I must retract my 5 star review and make it a one star rating. I have found that the bits only worked one time and then were to dull to drill a second hole in another screw. I tried to drill a hole in pine wood with a different bit but it would not cut into that wood. With this information I now would call this set JUNK.
