WeruvaClassic Cat Food, Mack & Jack with Mackerel & Grilled Skipjack, 5.5oz Can (Pack of 24)

Bought this Weruva because one of my cats has developed an allergy and all his fur is falling out. I suspect it may be a chicken allergy, but apparently every cat food contains chicken regardless of flavor advertised on the front label. This brand is actually fish.First I tried Outback Grill and my cats were just not interested. No idea why - it smelled good to me, and I have no doubt that if I were to try eating it, they'd all try to take it away from me. But they were just not interested. It was an awful waste of money but I found someone to buy it from me and their cats grudgingly ate it.Then I tried Mack and Jack. This is a total winner! Maybe because it's got tuna? No clue. But they love it. It's expensive, but I'm happy with the ingredients and the cats are happy, too. Results may vary, obviously. Different cats like different stuff, but if you're on the fence about which flavor to buy I would recommend Mack & Jack for starters.

Our poor adopted cat only has four teeth, as he was malnourished apparently before coming to live with us. So, he mostly eats wet food, as dry food can be difficult for him to chew up. He LOVES Weruva cat food so much--we go between this and the paw lickin' chicken varieties (his favorite). The cans are packed with food and the food is very good for your cat: filled with nutrients and NO FILLERS like corn or other grains. You will not be sorry you spent the extra money on this very good food and your cat will thank you!

My cat is very picky when it comes to food. I normally use Wellness or Weruva brands, but my cat would get tired really quickly. Mack & Jack is great since it consists of chunks of fish, so you know you are getting the real product. Normally prone to food allergies, my cat did not react to this food at all.THERE IS ONE PROBLEM with this product. My cat developed severe diarrhea when eating only Mack & Jack. Together with Royal Canin he was perfectly ok, but solely on Weruva Mack & Jack he would go to the litter box over and over again.

i absolutely LOVE this brand! i tried the chicken one and my kittens adored it, but we traveled steadily in june so i couldn't really get deliveries from amazon like i needed. i supplemented with petco's soulistic food because i read that weruva is contracted to make that brand. my kitties really dig it, too. but here's the difference between the two: with weruva, they eat a lot less and bulk up more. 2 cans a day for both of my 5 mo. old kitties is enough for them. with soulistic, they cannot stop eating it and one of my kitties still has a very lithe body. SO, i'm back to weruva - mack and jack this time - and i mix in SOLID GOLD SEAMEAL nutritional supplement that i purchase here. i mix extra water with the seameal and mix it in the food (about 3/4 cup) because we are in the desert and although we have ac, it is still 100+ outside.i bought a 6lb bag of dry salmon halo for them this go-around and they are so used to not having an dry food at all so their bodies don't like it very well. after half of this case of weruva is gone, i will initiate them into an all raw diet. i am also going to put soil in their litter box instead of all this other stuff (even though i am very happy with my KITTEN ATTRACT litter).

Opened the first can and over 75% liquid. Very little fish in the can. Not going to open anymore so it can be returned.I do not recommend buying this product.

The best cat food on the market made with premium ingredients. There are no by products or filler. This is pure food fit for HUMAN consumption. I have watched the seller crack open a can and eat it with a fork. This is real food, not the garbage you find in the pet isle. Our vet placed our cats on this when they began suffering from pancreatitis. The problem cleared up immediately, and the cats love this stuff. They scream for it when they see the can.

I can only say that my cat does not like it. He loves gravy, so I got the gravy with fish this cat food advertised. Well, my cat barely ate the first can and I am tossing the other ones which he refuses to eat. I am not sure what is in this can. It was a waste of a lot of money.

I don’t know what’s in that can but when I open it my cats come running. They meow, rub against my leg and stare at the countertop watching for when I put down the fork. I can’t vouch for the flavor but they lick their plates clean EVERY time. For my budget it’s pricey and for my cats ooooooof course they love it! I love them, so……great stuff!
