Perfect solution for all your backups
The all rounder portable hard disk for all your backups. Compatible with all PCs and the plug and play use is just perfect for on the go. Comes with WD softwares which are not that much useful but still good to have. I was satisfied with the transfer speed. I made 4 partitions with NTFS file system and it works perfectly everytime I plug in. The USB cable is also of the right size and the look and feel of this hard drive is durable. Overall I will recommend this product.

Great for storage. Not so good for modern games.
This is my second purchase after 10-12 years of using WD Elements 1tb, that had 5400 rpm, and was failing after years of use. This WD 2TB has a max rpm of 4800rpm. Decent copying speeds 110-120mbps (depends on file type). I use for storing photos/videos and some casual gaming(windows). Expect stutters and frame drops if you plan to use for gaming only. Playable on low quality textures/config in modern aaa titles Great pricing( atleast compared to SSD)

No security features as of given and mainly build quality is not upto the mark. CHEAP BUILD QUALITY !!! Only 1.81 tb available.

Acheté suite au décès d'un de ces prédécesseurs suite à une chute pendant qu'il était branché :( En 2To il est plus épais que les autres mais cela reste un produit très pratique à emporter avec soi.

Produit manifestement déjà utilisé et défaillant (Erreurs E/S)
Très déçu par cet achat. À la réception, le scotch de fermeture de l'emballage était déjà coupé, signe que le produit avait déjà été ouvert ou retourné. Plus inquiétant encore : dès le premier branchement, mon antivirus a détecté une menace, ce qui m'a obligé à effectuer un formatage complet immédiat. Malgré l'utilisation d'un câble double USB pour garantir une alimentation électrique suffisante, le disque subit des micro-coupures de connexion incessantes. Le transfert de fichiers est impossible (erreurs 0x8007045D régulières), ce qui laisse présager que de nombreux clusters sont défectueux. Après de multiples tentatives de récupération, le disque reste instable. C’est inadmissible pour un produit vendu comme neuf. Je demande le retour et le remboursement immédiat.
