Well packaged, arrived on time, easy to use with one table spoon in the morning. Effective.

It makes your intestine work just fine! You go every 24 hours with just half a tablespoon of the product. The problem is to find a half tablespoon measure. Sometimes I have to buy a whole set of measurement spoons to get the right one I hope it came with with the spoon measure

I was taking chia seeds and pretty regular. No complaints and in fact I stopped using this product for a while. Then I decided to combine the two. Wow, what a difference! This product alone is great for what it is designed for, but if you can afford it, try combining the two. I am glad this product is still priced fair and I hope it remains so.

This is the best brand of psyllium husk. No additives, flavors, sugar, or worse--sugar substitutes. A wholesome product, I've been using this for twenty years, daily, 1/4 Cup mixed with yogurt and fruit. You MUST swallow water after every bite. I suggest hot tea, to help flush it down and through your system. This is the best investment I ever made for my health.

It works great, I even started giving my kids(8,6 years old) as well...It doesn't taste great and kind of hard to swallow that texture(flaky), but when you have your favorite juice, it's way easy to drink it.(even my kids would with juice)My suggestion is.... not to mix with juice in advance.We usually put a spoonful of powder in our mouth directly, and drink juice and mix it in our mouth, which is much easier and tolerable.(Even my kids prefer that way to mix it in a cup with juice and drink it cause it turns like jello if you wait just a little longer!)

The worlds best, most pure, and simple psyllium husk product known to man. No great advertising, or slick packaging. But for people like me 49 yr old, high protein diet, mild diverticulitis, and not enough time or money to eat all the vegetable fiber I need for regular movement, this is the end all. 2 heaping tbls in the morning with a glass of orange juice or water, and the same in the evening if I feel the need, to keep regular, on time, and cleansed. When you go, there is no mess, no push, no explosions, almost no wiping. I can't say enough, I was turned on to this 20 yrs ago, and have been using it off and on this whole time. I found that when I take a break, I have heavy bowl movements, I have to push, and almost developed hemorrhoids a couple of times. Then I get back on my regimen, and wham o/ presto, the magic starts all over again and I wonder why I ever stopped using. I will admit the only reason I ever quit is because I run out of product, but since have learned to keep a big jug like this for the whole family, and when it is about 2/3 gone, I reorder, or go find it in the Vitamin Shoppe, it is 9 dollars more there than here.This is NOT a laxative!!Don't be worried that your bowels will relax as with laxatives. NOT TRUEThis is only pure fiber that will simply add clean air, not stinky fermented air, it will not break down, and won't ferment causing stinky "farts"!!It is whole husks from Plantain seeds, and will just rake the walls of you colon clean as it passes through, and a typical poo, after you have started a daily regimen, will last about 2 - 3 seconds.I am a highly qualified rater, as I have felt the results, as well as witnessed them, in my friends which have followed my advise on this product.If you need fiber, or colon cleansing, or are constipated regularly, or just tired of sitting on the throne for extended periods of time, then you need to buy a jug right away!!

Excellent product. I use this product daily and am very happy with it.Pros: 1) Does not contain sugar or any sweetners. Note that Metamucil and other products contain sweeteners, which add calories and chemicals 2) Works consistently. 3) Good price. Compare to other products in stores, and you will find the per oz. price is competative. 48 oz. size is a great value and lasts a long time. 4) Decent texture and drinkability.Cons: 1) It is straight fiber and has no flavor. You won't be using this product for the taste, which is actually a selling point in my opinion. Occasionally, I will add some juice to it for flavoring. 2) If you take a large dose of this product, it can get a little thick toward the bottom of the glass. Just add more water and stir. 3) Don't understimate the value of water, both is making the product drinkable, but also in helping the product work as designed in your digestive system. 4) The name of the product. You may not be impressing friends or family by having the jar sitting on your kitchen counter like I do.
