Performing its duty well
In order to prevent the pot from cracking, the first thing I did was to fill the pot with room temperature water, and then boil the water on my stovetop with a low heat (3 out of 8). It will take a long time for the water to boil, but the purpose for this was to prep the pot for cooking. When the water gets hot (or boiling, if you'd like to wait), pour it out and let the pot cool down naturally (don’t rinse it with cold water, just set it aside and let it cool down).The day after I cooked with it. I have an electric stovetop, and I set the heat to high (7 out of 8) and put my room temperature pot on it. After about 2 mins, I poured cooking oil in it and start cooking. For the dish in the picture (eggplant and grounded pork), I had to cook it with the lid on for about 8 mins, still on mid-high heat. The pot did great and did not crack. This is how you should take care of your cookware.I’m very satisfied of the quality of this pot, and I’m ready to use it more often.

A lovely pot and trivet!
I love this clay pot. I have purchased many ttukbaegi and earthenware from markets and they have cracked on me or stained with my gas stove. This pot is lovely, light and sturdy. I am very pleased with my purchase and will be buying more as gifts this christmas!

Rice taste better in the unglazed pot
Also, The non glazed clay pot is so easily broken.This glazed report keep the left over rice well. It taste better but this glazed pot.I’ll keep it.

crack appeared on the pot
I am extremely disappointed about the quality of this ceramic pot which I purchased on August 24, 2023. Since then I only used the pot to cook some soup two times until today ( 1/21/2024) when I try to cook some soup with udon, 5 minutes into cooking I noticed soup is leaking out from a crack stretched on top rim all the way down to the bottom of the pot. I am very unhappy about this purchase. QL

I love the pot, the design, look, size… I’m just surprised how easily things like pasta stick to the bottom while cooking if not frequently stirred… even then it seems to happen
