I absolutely love the color as it is exactly the shade of purple used as an accent color in my room's drapes. Cotton was a requirement for the construction of the bedspread in this room. This product met that need, but it was heavier than anticipated. It was washed and dried before it was used. Perhaps after few more washings it will become softer.

Very well made quilt! I have a King sized bed and ALWAYS struggle with King sized quilts not fitting properly, they always seem to run to short on each end and not cover the mattress well. The dimensions on this particular quilt are so big that I ended up purchasing the Queen size and it fits perfectly. Make sure you measure before you choose the size you need. The fabric is very soft, 100% cotton, just the perfect thinness you need for a quilt of this size so it should launder well. I felt the shams were way overpriced, but purchased them anyway since I needed them. I plan to buy this quilt in several other colors!

Owners of California King Beds and Adjustable Beds and Beds on Platforms – REJOICE! This quilt in KING SIZE is a perfect “blanket/quilt” for a CALIFORNIA KING bed. I have a full size CA King bedspread I put over it when I have company. But for every day use the bed looks pretty and the very unattractive Tempurpedic base no longer shows and looks like a bed in a prison or other “no frills” location. I tried everything including awful bed skirts that did not work on my adjustable bed.I have searched high and low to find this quilt. I got it yesterday and washed it and it came out perfect. The color, heft, softness, and design are perfect. The coral color looks like it does on the website – it is not washed out in person! If you have been looking for a true coral color, you know how many corals there are and how they often look nothing like they are depicted on-line.Even with the discount that brylane.com offers, this bedspread is less expensive on smileamazon.com and free returns are offered.

I use it for a bed spread, but it’s more like a quilt. Beautiful materials and design. I love the fact it is oversized. Fits perfectly on my king sized bed with extra high mattress.

When ordering this item, it is sold through Amazon, and even though it states it is returnable, the return cost is highly inflated as it is not Amazon's cost. The return cost was almost $50, which is significantly higher than Brylane Home's own return cost. I'm not clear how the inflation cost is originated, but it is most misleading to think it's returnable at Amazon's costs and it is not.The bedspread itself, is very nice - no problem with that - the return process is questionable.

Received item on time and the color is true to the picture.

It could have been wider - it is plenty long but the width would have fit the mattress better had it been a few inches wider.
