I am a mother who did a DIY laminate floor project recently. Was hesistant to purchase this based on reviews here showing broken block or bent pull bar.So here's my 2cents...This product arrived well packaged. I didn't use the tapping block and spacers right away thinking the spacers are basically useless (which really are if you think about it. I had to tape 2 spacers together then tape them on the wall so they stay up. Better to find alternative) and I used a discarded cut of the laminate plank as tapping block instead but it made mess anyway.Well I ended up using all of the stuff in this kit. They held up well. I don't understand why some reviews showed bent Pull Bar and broken Tapping Block. How much tapping force did they use?Coz I used regular hammer on them and both are still perfectly ok.I am on my next room to lay laminate flooring.***WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW AFTER I'M DONE WITH THE 2ND ROOM DIY Laminate Flooring.

So much better than the old tap block i lost
I somehow managed to lose the Blue Hawk brand tap block I used for 2 other rooms. so glad I did... The Versa Block is so much nicer. It held up better than the Blue Hawk, and didn't damage the flooring at all. I got the combo kit which includes the pull bar and wedge spacers ( not the blue ones shown in pictures) for almost the same money as the old block alone cost me. A great product and the combo kit was a great value. I am very pleased with this item
