So expensive.... and you would think you should get the top of line lens covers for the price .... and you do!Make sure you size them right -Very solid build - all metal - strong attachment - adjusts easily - secures tightly. Very well made. If you spent good money on your scope and maybe plan to hand it down someday - or even sell it off - these covers are almost mandatory.I did shop them very hard and Leupold has truly has a tight price hold on this item. Never saw a discount, never saw a sale, hard to find right sizes used, once attached to a scope, they rarely come off and are sold used - even Ebay resellers were basically at retail prices when I searched.I paid about $100 for front and rear brand new. And for top scopes, would buy again in a heart beat.

By far the best lens cover. Strong magnet. I bought it used like new for $80 and think that's a more fair price than the new price of $140.One issue..unlike more lens covers which slip over the scope..this one screws in like a lens filter. It's much more durable and elegant. But if you have low rings like I do where the objective barely clears the barrel, you have to remove the scope, screw the lens cover on, then remount the scope. Have to re zero and all.Lastly, the spring tension is pretty strong. When flipped open it will fling back and hit the scope or barrel pretty hard. Since the lid is aluminum...it and the scope or barrel will get scratched up.

They are solid. Stay closed and look amazing. Open at the touch of your finger. I have these caps on several scopes and the only way to go. 100% quality

Stumped my LGS on sizing for this scope. According to leupolds fit guide the objective lens part 59030 20mm EXCEPT the VX-3HD 1.5-5X20 has a 30mm tube which it references in the later part of the first sentence. What you really need is 24mm which is part 114756 which is this exact model. The rear lens is still the standard size lens cover which Amazon conveniently enough sells both the grey logo and gold logo model.Yes, these are a tad pricey compared to bear creek. But if you're going to spend the money on a nice scope, you mine as well spend a tad extra and take care of the glass. Worth it and I'll continue to purchase these for future scopes.

Fit great, works well, did not get 5 stars because the Leopold branding logo does not match the scope and other end cover.

This is a great product, a little expensive but putting it on a leupold , we'll worth the money. I have them on all my scopes. Protects the lenses when I'm in the woods and during cleaning.

This product is phenomenal. The aluminum is not cheap metal and will withstand a beating. The magnets offer just enough strength to keep the lens cap flipped closed from accidental bumps, but requires little effort to get it to open when you are ready to take a shot.These do screw onto your objective lens and work nicely, HOWEVER, if you own a scout scope like I do, and both ends of the tube are 28mm, this WILL NOT fit on the eyepiece end. I found this out the hard way, and am returning the second one. You have to order the 59060 which is an "Alumina Flip-Back Lens Cover – Ultralight EP." Optics Planet had the 59060, and I just bought the last one, but overall, it the Leupold flip caps are extremely well made. Even for $40 a piece, I know I am getting what I paid for.

Shipping time was Decent considering the situation.

Extremely overprjced for what it is.these lense covers work well but are marked up very high from Leupold.I love Leupold optics and belive their scopes are worth the price. BuT these lense covers are a $10-$15 item marked WAY up.
