Beautiful shoe, design and fit, your feet will be happy there
Plainly, I feel not so happy about not being able to provide the full five stars. Here's the shoe:-- as you most likely have already read, excellent design, look, feel and fit--dries quite quickly--very breathing, airy--super light on the foot--overall great comfort--dependable sole gripThough, here's the key issue: the fact that you have mesh-- multiple mesh, btw-- of course means that that which would travel out of the shoe can (and does) travel in.Sand.It is astonishing to me that no-one in their reviews has mentioned this. While it is obvious when looking at the shoe specs, it does not become perfectly clear, until out there using the shoe, in the most practical sense, on any given beach: the shoe, fully permeable all over, allows as much sand in, as out. (Of course!). The especial problem, the sand gathers in, and stays in, just underfoot, inside the shoe. You end up walking around with a huge sand clump in your shoe. And this happens in any sand environment, dry or wet, very quickly. And then, so, remove shoe, empty out quickly as best possible, but sand, dry or wet, will quickly filter back in the same. Also, get shoes home, takes a great great deal of time to rinse all of sand out, either in bathtub or good strong utility sink. And, on top, next day, check the shoes and, invariably, a great amount of dry sand and small shell debris still trapped in between the multiple meshes. (And, shake them shake them is most efficient removal attempt, rather than re-wetting. Still lots of work).I have been using other large brand name swimming shoes over the years, and they "repel" the sand and debris much more strongly, but they have been, in general, a slight bit heavier, and drying not as quickly. So, these are challenging swim/walking shoes for a beach environment, anywhere with sand volume. However, I am going to keep these for pool events/areas, and even around the house. And I do agree with one of the other reviewers, the shoes do have such a good look that I think you could get into a fine dining place with them. And looking forward to doing so in Miami soon.

BEACH/POOL ESSENTIALS
I bought a pair of these for my recent trip to Cancun, Mexico. I found these to be excellent on the beach as they allowed sand to drain out of them fast. I used these daily during my holidays....the best part was I wore them with khakis at the fancy restaurants and had no issues getting in. They held up great and the metal screen infused soles are just awesome. If you are looking for beach/pool slippers for vacation I would recommend these as an alternative. I found that I didn't wear my flip flops and sandals because these provided better grip and could be worn with dressier outfits. I liked having a sneaker like fit and walking on the beach was a breeze. This is my first pair of aqua shoes so I have no reference....but I would not hesitate to buy another pair....they're reasonably priced as well.

Great aquatic shoe for the price
The fit of this shoe is awesome. The contoured shape and draw-string security really keeps them on my feet even when yanking myself out of muck and mud when fishing knee deep in the lake. The sole is rather rugged as well and has nice traction. I've been able to comfortably hike in, fish, and hike out with total comfort. The mesh construction of the shoe offers great breathability yet my feet are not cold when my wet shoes come back into contact with the chill air. Some sand and dirt will get in this shoe as someone mentioned in another review, but I mean isn't sand a natural exfoliant anyway? I've only experienced tiny granules of anything but if you don't want to get sandy then it's best to just avoid the beach/sand in general. Sand will always find a way, no matter what shoe, boot or ingenius system you come up with. The Army taught me that a long time ago. Also, these make great frogging shoes as I've tested with my kids and some $1 Target brand backyard nets. Try it out, it's a blast.

Good looking on wide feet :-)
Firstly, I love "sneaker" style water shoes. They are amazing for wide feet as they really let the feet "splay" without looking like fat shapeless blobs. After hours of wear though, this particular pair rubs my big toenails and makes them sore because the design wraps a bit of the hard rubber sole up over the toenail for protection. I have large-ish big toes, but probably wouldn't bother a person with average or thin big toes. Also, the padding is not as comfortable if standing and walking around for hours like my other pair by a different brand (L Run), but the style is more attractive than my other pair. I still plan on purchasing 1 or 2 more pairs and probably will add more/different support cushions. They are just so attractive on my wide feet!

Lightweight & Comfortable!
These shoes are so lightweight and great for walking, hiking, etc! I used it for hiking and it was super comfortable. Going uphill & dowhill was easy! I definitely want to take it out in the ocean next!

Working so far
Needed a new pair for TX tubing, and these were a good value and could be shipped fast.Light and flexible, with plenty drainage. No thin cheesy graphics glued on that will loosen and fall of with time (I got black with red accents). Nice grippy bottom. Low profile, so you don’t get crazy tan lines.I got a 1/2 size too small to try to prevent the shoes from flopping around in the water, and that was a mistake on me, not the shoe. It fit a little tight, which I should have expected since these won’t stretch like some of my other shoes. The tongue was my biggest worry, because most water shoes use a continuous piece of material so they don’t flop around. They included a stay that the laces go through to hold it in place. Once you cinch up the laces you shouldn’t have an issue. Of course, I call them laces, but it is more of a elastic line... what’s the word for that? You get the idea...

Great for water sports
I bought these shoes for canoe trips, they worked great for the first trip out, light, easy to put on an adjust. Dried quickly, had good traction on slippery surfaces and provided toe protection.I love the fact that I can stand in muddy areas and despite sinking down prior to entering the canoe, they did not slip off my feet and get lost in the mud.Would recommend.
