Scandinavian Design. White. Simple. Works Perfectly.
When my old tea kettle died and couldn't find a modern looking one for my kitchen, was happy to find this one to fit in with my white kitchen. It goes well with all my other countertop appliances. Works so simply and quick to heat. Love the touch of "wood" handle. Not loud or finicky (but very Finnish looking.) If it's the look you like---don't hesitate wondering if it is going to work well. It's awesome. Perfect size too.

WARNING: Leaking after just over 1 year of regular use, customer service only blamed me!
Wanted to love this, but every morning there is a puddle of water on the base and kitchen counter from a leak somewhere in the bottom of the kettle. What's more, I emailed customer service and they attempted to blame me for overfilling it, or tilting it wrong, and told me to "dry it out" which I have done. They refused to admit fault with this item, and unless something changes, this review will remain. Unbelievable that they would blame/gaslight a customer for an obvious leak.Sadly, cannot recommend this kettle. It looks great but seems to be poorly constructed.

Better in person and works great
This tea pot is much nicer in person. The wooden handle feels good in your hand and does not absorb heat. It is one of the quieter pots I have owned and comes to a boil pretty fast. The only downside is the outside of the pot does get a little hot but that would not keep me from purchasing it.

Beautiful
This kettle is beautiful and feels solid and well made. I do want to point out that the handle isn’t real wood, that wasn’t obvious to me from the listing, and also the lid has to be pulled off, there isn’t a button like kettles normally have. We decided to keep it because we liked the design but the lid may be an annoyance for some people.

Great design but leaks!
Boiling water was efficient up to about 3 months. Discovered puddle of water seemingly coming from around the handle area.

Broke after 6 months
The switch on this electric kettle stopped working after 6 months. My husband bought a part that was supposed to be compatible with this model but it did not fit properly so he was unable to fix it. The kettle that I had before this one lasted four years! And another kettle that I have has worked perfectly for 2 years. I didn't want a cheapo tea kettle so I spent a little more and bought this one. I even was ok with the fact that I could boil water in a pan faster than this slow heating kettle because it looked so nice. Goes to show that looks aren't everything and you do NOT always get what you pay for.

Beautiful design...only last for a year
Great looking kettle, worked as expected until it didn't. Light on the switch burned out but still worked, and a week later the kettle stopped working. Used for a little more than a year. Expected better quality for the price.

Attractive design
I was looking for something contemporary unique and selected this kettle. So far works great, the wooden handle is sold and the outside of the kettle stays cool when the kettle is hot, and I am happy with the design. I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the cheaper quality black plastic and the workmanship at the very top or the kettle (see photo).Update 3 years later: still works great, but there is rust at the bottom after about a year. I'm not sure if stainless steel should rust. Although I throw out the water after each use, there is still moisture at the base so it's not completely dry.
