My daughter liked the new replacement head strap I got her and she especially loves the dial on the back that dials a custom comfortable fit to her head. She absolutely loves it and it was easy to put on the replacement to her Oculous 2.

I am a 5'5" woman with a typical sized head but big apple cheeks (always have problems getting glasses because the lens will hit my cheek when I laugh). I also wear glasses and am prone to neck pain. I was getting headaches from the original Quest 2 headset because of the weight it put on the front of my face - no better or worse when I took off my glasses or used the plastic glasses-spaced provided with the original headset. Bought this and have only used it for a couple of days, but it is a significant improvement. The weight is more balanced on the back of my head (took much fiddling to get the strap to a perfect spot where it balanced the weight. So much easier to adjust than the original headset straps. I use a cpap to sleep and wish it fit as well as this headset. One issue I had was with assembly. I was watching the video and looking at the instructions and was at a total loss until I figured out you need to spin the wheel between steps 2 and 3 to get the straps to come out of the sides so you can clip on the adapters.

I bought this because i couldn't stand the stock strap; as it felt uncomfortable to wear and never quite adjusted right. I ended up having to take breaks and even got a headache once. That was the day i found this lovely piece of equipment. As soon as it came in, i swapped the strap out and went to test it. The results of that test were phenomenal. I passed several hours in the virtual without even thinking about it! The small amount of extra weight helps to balance out the frontal weight of the brick strapped to your face, that way it doesn't bore into your cheek bones. It really cranks down too, nice and tight. I actually did a front flip wearing it just to see if it would fall off and heck no! It stayed right where it was. It also keeps it at the right height so the image doesn't get all blurry. Honestly i recommend to everyone they get this if they get the quest 2. Way to go, Esimen!

Happy with this purchase. I waited a few days to play around with the stock strap when my Oculus Quest 2 arrived but quickly decided that an upgrade would be useful. I read the less than stellar reviews of the Oculus elite strap so took a chance on this one as the price was reasonable and the reviews were decent.The install was a little tricky but not too bad, one of the holes to clip into had some plastic build up that I had to carve out a little for the knob to pop in properly (on the side of the strap), but besides that, it was easy.The product itself is good, I have had no issues after 2 weeks. The fit is easily adjustable, and the support in back is as good as I could expect. I still find myself taking breaks to take off the visor regularly but I think that is going to be common regardless of the strap.

This was recommended by my brother since the head straps that come with the kit are not very secure. It fits great and is easy to adjust.

Pro's- Price, Light weight, comfortable.Oculus 2 out of box strap only allowed around 30 minutes of gameplay. This product I can play 2-3 hours of non stop VR. I highly recommend purchasing some sort of elite strap to really change up your VR experience as I am finally able to play FPS and Boxing games without my headset feeling like an anchor.Con's- shipping time, Cheap material.DO NOT LOOSEN HEADSET WHILE IT'S ON YOUR HEAD. This will break the strap. Instead, only loosen the strap when you take the headset off of your head. This will avoid strain on the springs that are inside of the headset strap.Conclusion: Is this product worth the price and the wait while being made out of cheap material? Yes, as long as you semi take care of your headset you should be in good shape. Also, if you intend of playing high intensity games I suggest buying a second face shield. (For all my sweaters out there).

Better than stock but still puts a lot of pressure on my forehead

Im not going to write about the factory oculus strap. You know about it already and it makes us both mad.This machine strap, however, is excellent! it was difficult for me to attach, but has never faltered. Its significantly heavier, so its a bit much for a giraffe like me who has a tough time keeping their neckular vertebrae straightThis device kept me comfortmaxxing throughout Gorn, Blade and Sorcery, FNaF Help Wanted, and several Recroom quests and Payday 2 Heists- games which require a lot of physical movement.I for one would declare this device a necessity!

This head strap is nice and it is comfortable but kids have a tendency to over tighten the ratchet in the back and eventually just strip all the gears out of it

My issue with the Oculus how it comes is that I am fidgeting with it alot to get it to focus and got this to help keep it in focus from the get go. I found it helped 100% and was very comfortable. The reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars was that the installation process is a bit frustrating and I didn't think the sides would fit but eventually got it to slide and snap into place.

March /2021 UpdateSo after using this head strap for few months came back and dropped another 2 stars.Major issue, with this strap attached the gear cannot fit in ANY Gear case whether on Amazon or Best Buy. I tried and returned over 5 cases on Amazon. This strap is NOT meant to come off and on easily.Next major issue is cheapness of the construction - the plastic makes alot of creaking and cracking noises and always sticks when trying to adjust and make micro adjustments for good NON-blurry fit. The head gear with a snug fit becomes ucomfortable after 40 min of game play or 20-30min when playing more active/aerobic games. Not good if any in the house are prone to migraines or headaches. While still better than the original in the box, quest strap, we replaced it with the Quest 2 Elite strap which was another night and day improvement over this strap. I no longer would recommend this strap as the Quest 2 Elite is DEFINITELY worth waiting for.January /2021Dinged one star as I wish the instructions on taking apart the Quest2 OEM headset were clearer, (almost damaged the headset) as well as instructions on using the dial. twist clockwise to tighten, "pull out" on the dial and twist counter clockwise to loosen!! Other than that this headset was "game “changer for our house. We are family of 4 and Quest 2 is a favourite for all members. Adjusting the OEM head gear between kid, teen, adult, larger adult between uses was cumbersome. This makes the adjustments and comfort fine tuning to mere seconds. The headset is very comfortable for long durations of play which in our house is max of 30-40min before it’s the next person's turn. With this new head gear, the quest2 does not fit into the carrying case we bought so looking for new one.

Ears. I wondered about this when I was buying it but no one seemed to mention it. So I will. My ears are rather large, and this strap goes across them just at the top. There's also a velcro strip at that spot on the strap which holds the back pad in place, and that is very uncomfortable on the ears. I ended up replacing this strap with a halo strap which solved this problem. The halo strap also eliminated the problem of having a heavy object being pulled straight from the rear and giving me a headache after a long period of play. That being said, this is well built and very secure after you manage to get it put together (which is frustrating, like most people have pointed out), and makes switching between players often very easy. It also arrived very quickly. I would suggest finding a youTube video on how to install it though, as the instructions that come with it aren't detailed enough.
