He uses it all the time (he's in there as I write this review). A few months ago we moved to a new apartment whose window sills are too small for him to lay on and bird watch. They are also casement windows, so the glass panes aren't wide enough to accommodate a window hammock (I tried). Other cat trees I saw were either too short, too expensive, too fancy or too small! This one is the perfect height, with a nice big bed. Tango is around 11 lbs and I didn't want him to have to squeeze in to the smaller beds, but this one gives him lots of room. Two cats could fit easily in there, I think. It is sturdy enough on its own if kitty's only intention is to use it for lounging, however I would use the included wall anchor if they plan to play on it. Mine uses it exclusively for napping in the window so it is not a problem. It was easy enough to put together in my opinion. All parts and screws were there, along with an allen key for tightening. The hardest part of assembly was trying to match the screws in with the screw holes. It's never been my forte lol everything is nice and fuzzy and soft, and the pad inside the bed is removable if you need to wash it (or replace it. Tango's been kneading his before he goes to sleep). You can't see the product very well in the included pictures, but it gives you an idea about the size and height. We wrapped the curtain around it to trap the heat coming up from the heat register on the floor beside it, and also so he can get some privacy from the dog when he needs it. Overall very happy with this cat bed. It finally gives our kitty a way to comfortably lounge in the windows.

Easy to assemble, seems sturdy, and while I read about a chemical smell in reviews, that wasn't an issue with mine. There was a slight chemical smell, but within two days it was gone entirely. My cat seems content with the product, and the top platform is very spacious for a single cat, and could easily fit a second. The only nitpicks I have with the product is with the padding along the outside of the platform, and with the detached padding that you can place on top of the top platform. The padding along the border of the top platform is soft and fluffy, but it flows over the edge of the platform, so when your cat puts weight on it, it kind of droops a bit. My cat doesn't seem to care, but I wouldn't have minded a little more support for the outer padding. As for the little padding that goes inside the top platform, the issue I have with that is it's a filled with a different material than the outer padding; specifically it's filled with something that makes a crinkling noise. My cat loves toys of that nature, so I had to almost immediately remove that padding, since every time she stepped on it she got more and more excited, until she was trying her hardest to rip that padding apart. Since it comes detached it was easy to remove and replace, but would have been nice if I didn't have to replace it at all. Definitely think this is a good little cat tree though, especially if you don't have a lot of room.
