Genuine JoeGJO10215 Eco-friendly Paper Cups

Fine for drinking!

This cup seems just a little thicker than the similar Amazon Basics compostable coffee cup I bought a few times before. I like the moderate thickness of this Genuine Joe cup because it seems to keep hot coffee hot a sip longer and cold water cold enough. It is just a little bit pricier. But it always comes wrapped in plastic - so every cup is clean. And then they are boxed too. So they arrive uncrushed. Those two things are important to me. And, I appreciate that since this is a composting cup - it may be safer and healthier for me to drink from - especially hot drinks. There’s no chemical taste or smell. The extra perk of course is that it’s better for the earth. I had used the much pricier Dixie “hot to go cups” a lot, before this. They have pretty good thickness for coffee. But Dixie coffee cups lately really really reek - awful odor. I simply can’t stand the smell to drink from Dixie hot cups anymore. GJ is my go-to paper cup now. I use them every day for snacks, cold drinks, water. And sometimes for hot tea or coffee.

I bought these to make shaved ice snow cones for the neighbor kids. We use reusable cups for ourselves at home but wanted something eco friendly when we do neighborhood snow cones. These are perfect.

Good cups at a good price. What more could you ask for?

I like these more than a lot of other hot cups because I tend to put a drink in the fridge and then get it again later and the coating on the cups of a lot of other brands after refrigeration starts to add a weird taste to my beverages especially if I reheat it. These ones I have had zero issue so far of anything I've drank from them tasting weird even if I leave it in the fridge until the next day.

Oh yeah these are the ones! Stong..so strong you can even rinse and use a second time and bonus compostable. Win-win..now that's awesome! Will keep purchasing.

These don’t leak and I really like that I can compost them after use. I would recommend!

These certainly are compostable! I used these to start some plants in. They worked perfect and didn't decompose until I put them in the dirt. So they can definitly handle beverages and all sorts of other things. These are really great.

In the pictures it shows lids and sleeves yet they don’t come with it

When I took the cups out of the box, I noticed that the bag they came in was open and when I counted the cups there was one missing. Unfortunately I did not have time to get them replaced before the event I needed them for.
