Works a lot better than our originals
Our pool table was delivered with a set of pool balls. After a week of use we noticed the balls were not that great. The would roll during racking, even when you were very careful. I do know a little rolling is normal but not as much as these were rolling. We decided to upgrade our pool balls. These work so much better than the original. We can rack them without having to rerack 5 times or fight the balls from rolling. They roll much better and I would highly recommend these. We are not professionals but I know these are much higher quality than the original balls that came with the table.

Great upgrade to the cheap balls that came with the table
For kids just playing at home, you might not notice a difference. But if you pay close attention to the game, you'll notice that these balls are better than cheap balls. They don't damage as easy. They roll exactly where you expect them to. The balls do not "skip" or hesitate when they carom off of other balls.

So much better than the set that came w/ my table
All comments are in comparison to cheap polyester resin balls: The transfer of energy and rebound is greatly increased. Weight balance is instantly noticeable. Essentially, these balls behave the way you think they should. Breaks are far more "explosive". Lovely sound on breaks. My first 9 ball break I pocketed two and in the past I could rarely if ever get one. These balls are far shinier and smoother. They glide across elegantly around the table. Cue ball control is far better. Awesome value for $100. My only complaint: someone sloppily wrapped packing tape around the box (I assume to prevent balls from moving in transit) but sadly have made the box an eyesore to be hidden away from view.

maintenance
These are very accurate. They do require more maintenance then I thought. With that being said it was my 1st time buying billiards. I polish them every 16-32 games.

ball speed and direction
Replacing my old balls with these has made a significant improvement to the enjoyment of the game . The balls run faster and straighter . Also putting spin on the cue ball is easier
