Very useful
I just wish my cat would cooperate. But it still is useful to get meds down her.

It doesn't actually push the pill
I have used a different pill pusher in the past (but can't find the one the vet gave me.) I didn't realize style and quality could be so different. This comes disassembled, which isn't an issue but it is not easy to put together. The silicone is not very flexible on the end so getting a pill to hold is hard. Then getting it in the mouth and shooting the pill, the pill just drops, so you need to get the pill in the way back (if it doesn't fall out of the silicone first...not guaranteed.) Basically, for what is needed, it is practically useless. If you need a pill pusher to pill your pet, this will not be a benefit. If you pet is easy to pill, it MIGHT work...but then why have a pill pusher at all?

My cats are stubborn about taking medication and this made the process VERY easy. Great product!!!!

Suitable, good price
There’s nothing manufactured that will make my tiny tiger take a pill easily. Angry growls the whole time.As in photo I think this might work best for larger pills (hack from other comments: some people buy gelatin capsules and put tiny meds in those for this). It does beat TRYING to stick my fingers in a snarling mouth to get it at that sweet spot where they don’t immediately spit it right back out.I use a bit of butter to “glue” it to the end and to help make it easier to swallow for her.The only missing star is that it’s REALLY hard to get that tip end all the way on so that the plunger reaches the end. You have to push it all the way on to the groove. It’s only day two of and I’m happy that tho it’s still a wrestling match, it’s an improvement at the final hurdle, tho I wish there was an option for smaller size pills. I may just need more practice. Since there are several, as I’m an artist, my place is CLEAN but cluttered … and things go missing easily. Kinda like ET in that pile of stuffed animals. Having several will be handy.

Very helpful
If you’ve ever tried to give a cat a pill you know the struggle is REAL. Especially with my little demon! This product is no magic wand but at least my fingers aren’t being chewed on anymore! It has also cut the length of the ordeal in half so my poor cat is a little less traumatized! Very much worth it!

Perfect for pilling - need to understand how to use the features and do it safely
I use this daily for my cat. I give him S. Boulardii as a diarrhea preventative for his IBD (Jarrow brand 250mg, transfer the powder to a smaller gel cap and give 125mg 2x/day). I also put other hard pills into gel caps (like cerenia which is very bitter and will make them foam at the mouth if the taste is not hidden). What's important is to coat the gel cap in butter or cottage cheese so it doesn't stick in their throat. Depending on the type of medication it can damage the esophagus if the gel cap dissolves there. If you use something slippery you need to clean the attachment head or it may come off on future usage because there won't be enough friction to keep it on when you try to pop the pill in (the pill will stay in the attachment and the attachment releases from the body.)This can also be used for liquid - either to follow the pill with water at the same time as the pill goes in (I haven't tried that yet), or just to follow up with water for whatever purpose. When giving any liquid to a pet in this manner, make sure to not do it from the front of the mouth. It should be done from the side so they don't aspirate the liquid into their lungs (may cause pneumonia).I've developed a technique to quickly pop the pill in and my cat is used to it now. If you need to, there's always using a large towel to make a cat burrito - that works every time too. The key is to put the edge over the front paws before wrapping both sides around them.

Great price
The tablets don't always come out of the syringe not really a great design. I use my hand as my car is not too aggressive but if you have a cat that won't take tablets well ........ You may struggle a little, it's not impossible to use the syringes and caps it's just that you have to position them just right. Maybe if you cut a little off the bottom then the plunger will push the pill/ tablet out more. IT IS JUST NOT straightforward.

Syringe not fit for purpose
The product was bought to dispense tablets directly into the mouth of our puppy without stress. The construction looks quite good and the syringe comes with a spare silicone nozzle. The end of the silicone syringe nozzle was so small that the tiny 2mm tablet we were trying to dispense would not insert into the nozzle easily. I had to force the tablet into the nozzle, from the syringe end one at a time to get them in place. When the syringe was used the plastic plunger bypassed the tablet inside the nozzle and forced itself up the side of the tablet, leaving the tablet still in the nozzle.Remember this was a very small tablet. I would not even try a larger tablet. It would just not fit.Only 1 star as you cant give 0

Our cat hated it
Tricky to load and difficult to use on an uncooperative cat. Far easier to use fingers. So bad, I gave it to a neighbour and they hated it as well.
