Very nice buttery soft powder pastels. None were broken, came with some sponges too!

This is a great deal. The pans are nice and big, and you get sponges to apply them. The product is very pigmented, and the colours are lovely pastel. Awesome!

This. is a great product BUT Amazon F'd it up by how the delivery was done... 20% of the containers' contents were all broken up. Crumbled.I'll bet .47 cents the driver merely tossed the small envelope package into the back of the truck, and the impact on the floor, or shelf, or my porch ??? and the compressed, very finely compressed colored pastel, couldn't take the 'blow' and crumbled.There was no way for me to prove it arrived crumbled, so I didn't even try for a refund.Garry

I know this is a great product...purchased before from my art store. However, they arrived all crushed and are basically just colored powder when they are supposed to be compressed into a cake. Had to return. Perhaps if the packer understood how fragile this product is, they would do a better job of packing. As the earlier one star purchaser stated, mine also arrived in a big box with only three air pillows that did not fill the box do the set bounced all over and shattered the cakes.

PanPastels are wonderful to use, however shipping and handling can be an issue. A couple of mine obviously were not properly handled and arrived looking like dust. However when I contacted customer service they made things right.

I enjoy using these for backrounds on coloring pages, but I really am too amateur for this medium if I'm being honest.I appreciate that the set comes w/a small eyeshadow style blender and foundation sponge hahaha. I do think it's funny there are 2 replacement pads but no tool to use them with. I found the set pictured for $1.89 on Temu and it came with 20 replacement pads and the 2 different shaped applicators.I do wish they were more affordable or another brand came out with a similar design. However, I received a great deal on a "like new" set so I can't complain too much. I can really only recommend PanPastel if you're a professional artist or you have the extra funds to spare.

Love the pan pastels! Adds a whole new dimension to your piece and even more with the shimmer colors. I bought the trays also to hold them which makes access easier. Wish they had more shades of shimmering pinks and reds.

If you haven't tried these, you must! They are amazing! They are about the size of a face powder compact, and the same consistency/texture. Also about the same amount of product in each pan as a powder compact. Now, for me, they took a bit of familiarizing, but don't all new-to-you products? They are so blendable, I was so excited! Ha! I also loved the fact that I didn't have a pile of dust to clean up. They come with a few tools, but regular make up sponges work perfectly! I really can't say enough about these. They are the best!
