I have a cruciate ligament injury. After trying a few different designs I already owned I bought this one, the first with metal hinges. It is the best of the ones I have tried. It doesn't stop the pain but it does allow me to move around the house and even make short trips to a local shop. You do need to wear something underneath it. I either put it on over tracksuit bottoms or I use a sock style knee brace on first. I can wear it for over 12 hours quite comfortably but on bare skin I can only wear it for an hour. I find it best to put on while I'm standing but I appreciate this may not be possible for everyone.

It's ok
I'm not sure if I have an odd shaped leg but the top I can get to fit snug but I can't get the bottom to fit at all.I tried a different one before this which was amazing before my leg swelled. This didn't give the same support and not as comfortable.Provably totally down to the poor fit and design for myself personally.Easy to put on and alter. Good velcro fastening. Uncomfortable behind the knee but again probably due to a very poor fit for myself with the bottom half .

Excellent for the price
I’ve had a lot of use out of this since damaging my knee. The metal hinges provide stability and I like the straps that can be done up across the knee to provide compression and extra support.The Velcro isn’t sticking so well after 6 weeks use but I’m not going to downgrade my review as this isn’t a brace costing hundreds of pounds like the one I’ve been recommenced post surgery.

It works
After 2 ops and struggling with my knee which is due for replacement I have bought numerous knee braces which worked for a certain period this knee brace is the best I have bought it works it keeps the pain at the door well worth the price highly recommended.
