Micro Portable Painter Watercolor Palette with Extra Pans - Travel | Feather-Weight | Simplify Your Life

I adore tiny, mobile travel palettes, and have had the larger 12-pan Portable Painter palette for several years now. I both love and hate this - it's really clever and very portable. However, the pans for this palette do not seem to be compatible with the Portable Painter (unless I'm missing something?), so I can't switch pans between the two as I'd like.

If you collect watercolor palettes like I do, then this little device is genius and you will LOVE it. Everything connects together and has practical in a small shape. While it is the Size of a credit card, it is thick, but remains very portable. Numerous mixing areas & water holder that all seal shut securely. The little finger "T" is workable but a bit awkward - I found adding a rubber band around the T and my finger held it more securely. The added bonus is the extra 3 full pans and 6 half pans that are fitted in their own plastic holder. While not meant to be used as additional palette, it would be a useful way to carry extra paint.Very pleased with this small palette - recommended! It was a good purchase.

I purchased this little palette for a week-long vacation that I took last week. The tiny wells held plenty of paint for the week (I’m still working through it!), and the mixing palettes provide a good blending surface for the pigments. I actually prefer the palette surface to my usual palettes! I highly recommend this palette to anyone who wants to paint on vacation or on the go; it really is tiny enough to slip into a purse or pocket. I also liked how it packed down tidily, as opposed to a messy set of wet pan paints. If you love your tube paints, this palette is a great way to keep painting on the go.

It’s so small and light weight but very functional. I can clip it on my notebook or sketchbook. The extra pans can use to carry more color. I may order another one to have a full range of color. It’s tiny and doesn’t take much space anyway.

I have a full size Portable Painter and am eager to having it available whenever I see an inspirational scene.

I got this as a gift from my boyfriend along with the paints on the pans.I gotta say that this is super cute! It's extremely light and portable. You can easily clip it on top of your sketchbook. Not only that, it fits in small pockets. It doesn't take much space and there's plenty of room to mix colors in. The only thing that would be a downside to this is when you put the palette back together, make sure you don't have any water or wet paint on the wells because it would leak out. Otherwise, this was a wonderful gift.
