The lazer display looks great and the functionality is fine, but there is one obvious snag: the directions say that once you set the 6 hour timer, that it will turn off at that same exact time every day. This is not true at all. I've had to reset the timer every single night because it keeps turning on and off early... Typically over a half hour earlier than whatever I set it to. One day, it didn't come on at all.

This is the best product! It was very reasonably priced and so easy to set up! I always wanted to decorate outside but didn’t want to figure out where to hang the lights... which ones to buy, etc. This is the perfect solution! Love itAddendum... I wrote my review prematurely . The red lights didn’t work but the green were pretty. Then the remote didn’t work- I had to go outside to pull the plug in order to turn the lights off. I did send an email and the owner kindly sent a replacement. I haven’t in-boxed it yet.One big disappointment - unrelated to the actual product, was the offer to award a $20 Amazon Gift card for submitting a great review- the instructions were on a business card included in the package. I sent the required “proof “ of my review submission but they ignored me and never sent the gift card. That is why I changed my review.***2nd Addendum***I believe you should give credit where credit it due... after writing my 1st addendum, I was contacted by the company who acknowledged sending me a gift card code on 12/11 and that I should check my Spam folder. I did and it was there- this was strange because the company actually had responded to my email with the code- so it should have gone to my inbox.Anyway, this is a great company to patiently go through the process of providing individualalized great customer service. Definitely a 5-Star company after dealing with my issues!

Bought two of these. While i dont have a lot of experience with projectors, i would not recommend this.For the money, it looks ok. However,1) The remote controls require a coin to remove the battery cover or huge screwdriver. The plastic used is super soft and the cover on so very tight, you end up stripping the plastic before you get the cover on. I had to actually use the screwdriver to pierce the actual plastic in order to get the cover off one of the remotes. Terribly comical design. 2) If you buy two of these, the remotes conflict in all sorts of ways. For example, sometimes one remote controls both, sometimes not. Its extremely frustrating. 3) The "timer" function is totally useless. I followed the instructions, and both my units do not listen at all to the timer commands. We now learned we have to unplug them at night unless we want them to either stay on all night, or randomly come on. 4) It looses its brightness pretty fast the farther the projector is from the wall. While this will impact any projector, it just seems like a pretty steep drop off.I guess you get what you pay for here, but if i were to do it again i would get a higher end projector.

The patterns and styles shown look wonderful. They are exactly as shown. My favorite was green forefront with a red background effect for the different shape projections. There is a function that allows you to choose how long you want it to run- everything from until you turn it off through an hourly choice up to 6 hours later. I really liked that as well.My only complaint is that you have to be fairly close (about 5 feet) to the projector in order to use the remote and you have to use the remote to turn it on or change the patterns.Overall I like it very much.

I wanted this to display on the whole front of our home but it wasn't wide enough. We tried only pointing it at our white garage door. Even then, it was pretty dim and hard to tell the shapes from a distance. The red light is completely impossible. There is also no way to save your display settings so you would have to click through the scenes each time you turn it on. The setting that alternates through each scene is so fast that you can't really see one before it changes to the next. We ended up returning it and put up traditional Christmas lights.

Not sure about the reviewers, who mentioned 30-40 feet and the image being bright. Really, really doubt it.We tried this project indoors in the dark room, about 5-6 feet from the white wall. Image was great.Installed it outside - not so much. From about 20 feet (on the light colored wall) you can barely see the image. Ended up setting it about 10-12 feet from the white garage door, so at least we can get the patterns visible.Good idea, decent implementation, but very weak light source. We have our old laser projector, so it's easy to compare.We'll probably consider returning this one...

I really hoped this would cover the front of my home but it was too dim to cover more than just one section. I'm not sure it would work very well if you had a second story on your home. It was fine if I had it about 6-8 feet away from a wall but other than that, you couldn't really see the lights. I didn't like that you couldn't just choose one design. I guess I should have read the description better but you definitely get what you pay for. Once it's pitch black you can see it much better and my house still looked festive. I just know for next year I need at least two if I want the entire front of my house lit.
