Extra Large Pontoon Boat Mirror (5" x 11.8") & Bracket, New, Folding, Adjustable by Maverick Advantage

This is a very well made mirror and bracket. It mounted easily, and I have no fear of the mirror or bracket failing in any way. The mirror itself is fantastic - a clear, large view. And, I'm able to fold the bracket in place to allow the Bimini to be folded down without any interference with the mirror assembly.

After looking at a “factory” model mirror for our pontoon boat and beefing taken back by the price, this mirror is what you need! It fits very solid to the square top rail and holds your adjustments even in rough water. Great product for the price!

This mirror installed very easily on our Barletta UE model. Easy to remove for storage and offers a large rear view.

I had to install this on the outside of the rail for 2 reasons: Barletta rails are 1.5", not 1.25", and the cockpit area on my boat has panels that are almost flush to the rails on the inside. No big deal but that means that the mirror assembly has to be screwed in differently: the hex head screw is now on the outside arc while the knob screw is in the center. So after that jury-rigging, I then notice that the mirror has a small defect. On the surface, there is a small fisheye defect. I will be going to Home Depot to get some thread lock or tape for the bolts as well as the rod that screws into the part that pivots--the plastic does not hold it very tightly.

Easy installation

We use the mirror on our pontoon boat. We do not have to take it off when we slip the boat or put on the cover. It is very convenient. The mirror covers a large range.

Fits well, holds position, placement is out of the way of viewing things in front of me. Great bang for the buck. I can lose 5 or 6 of these for the price of the next level up. Receive compliments from other tooners whomI know of at least two who then bought them theirselves!

Works great. Operating a larger pontoon boat on crowded waterways is somewhat distracting, especially with boat operators not following rules of navigation. This mirror takes care of at least knowing what is coming up behind you. As well as watching skiers or tubers signalling you.(in addition to your spotter of course)Well made and good value for the money.
