This item is a perfect replacement for the dual deadbolt, multipoint latch that came with my patio sliding door when the lower latch broke. Easy to install. Just watch the online video.

This latch was to replace one in our sliding glass door that broke. The unit is sturdy and fits perfectly. The measurements that the seller provided were on target. The hardest part of the installation was figuring it out without instructions. The video provided in the item's description was of someone installing a different lock. Other than that, I think the lock will last another 15 years!

I took my broken one out and looked up the number and found this perfect piece. Fits great. Ive never installed anything like this before but it was quite easy. Having a second person would help a lot because I had to hold the piece in place and had one free hand to put the screws in. But I got it done. Im just glad i didn't need to buy a whole new sliding door. Thank you.
