This is my second silk pillowcase purchase, as I want to rotate pillowcases when one is being soaked and later hand-washed (details below). My first purchase was a 22 momme silk pillowcase from another reputable company and seller on Amazon, Colorado Home Co.I inquired with Fishers Finery customer service on Amazon and they quickly responded with a friendly reply.This, my second silk pillowcase purchase on Amazon, was the 25 momme, white (undyed), pillowcase from Fishers Finery. This product is truly authentic, 100% silk. The quality and softness are superb. The packaging for this item is a very pleasant, big & stiff square, dark blue colored paperboard. If you buy their 30 momme silk pillowcase it comes in an even nicer packaging, a dark black, cardboard box with their company signature on top.Note, generally speaking, the nicer the packaging, the more you pay for the silk pillowcase product-- in fact, it can increase the price of the product by $15 to $20 approximately when you purchase a silk pillowcase that comes in a nice gift box.TIP on HOW TO WASH this item: Have a couple of silk pillowcases so you can rotate them when one is being washed as I describe here:a. Do not machine wash or machine dry.b. If there are any stains, use Ecover Stain Remover liquid (6.8 oz), available on Amazon and at grocery stores like Natural Grocers. Simply thoroughly spot dab the Ecover liquid stain remover on all stains. I had some blood stains on my other silk pillowcase (from Colorado Home Co.) due to a scab that broke on my head. I was worried the blood stain would not come out. I soaked the Ecover liquid stain remover on the pillowcase for 24hrs.c. Then, fill a bucket full of cool to warm water and a liquid detergent for delicate items (made for wool or silk). Not marketed as a detergent in this case, but I used Soapnut shampoo (unscented) soap that I purchased from an Amazon seller called Nature Sustained. Any Soapnut shampoo, body wash, or detergent (all are sold online or in some health food stores), are basically all the same and can be interchanged to cleanse your body, hair, or fabric (clothing or bedding). 100% pure Soapnut shampoo/liquid soap is very gentle but effective, as well as chemical free and very environmentally friendly. For some reason, as of 10/2022, it is very hard to find 100% pure Soapnut shampoo/soap (containing only Soapnut liquid and natural preservative) on Amazon or online.d. I then placed the silk pillowcase in the bucket of water, and I gently hand washed for about a minute. Then I let it soak for 24 hours. After 24 hours, I hand washed again for about a minute. Then I emptied the bucket of water and filled with clean water and rinsed the pillowcase in this manner. I then hung the silk pillowcase to dry over a wooden rack. You may also lay it flat to dry on a towel on a counter.The result? All the blood stains came out and there were no wrinkles (of course pillowcase was not as flat looking as when new).RE: Temperature Regulation-- I purchased this item as my body runs hot and thus, I also sleep hot. So, I needed a temperature regulating fabric in order to sleep better. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase does not cure all one's sleeping hot woes. However, it certainly was palpable in that the silk pillowcase did indeed reduce warmth. I cannot afford silk sheets at the moment, but having at least a silk pillowcase is the most important in order to reduce heat in the head area.A much less expensive (less than half the price), but very effective alternative to silk sheets, in order to sleep cooler, is 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets. So, I purchased this on Amazon: "Pure Parima Luxury 100% CEA Certified Egyptian Cotton Sheet Bed Set | Extra-Long Staple | Cool, Breathable, Ultra Comfort | Double Hem-Stitched | Flat, Fitted, and 2 Pillow Cases". These sheets did the trick and I sleep cooler. Another alternative is "Everhome Egyptian Cotton 700-Thread-Count sheet" available at your local and online bed and bath store.I am very pleased with this purchase and I can't wait to buy another 100% pure silk pillowcase from Fishers Finery.This item is "Practical Perry" approved. ; )

This is a necessity for all women regardless of hair length or type of hair. Wake up in the morning with hair style intact. BONUS, the soft slick pillow covering helps prevent wrinkles caused by using regular pillowcases. ***NOTE*** BONUS COMMENT STRICTLY BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.

The feel is great on your skin. I’m cold natured and worried the coolness would make me colder but it’s just kind of soothing. The creases from packaging took awhile to wash out.

Have purchased other brands but so far this one is far better,. Smoother, softer. Have not laundered it yet so can’t comment on that feature

I have a queen size pillow and the pillow case is bigger. I did wash it on delicate and kind dried. I’ll have to iron it as it’s pretty wrinkled.

This is the nicest silk pillowcase I’ve ever bought. I love that there is no zipper and that it keeps my face so cool. I hope the softness and silkiness holds up to washing.

I have standard size pillows and I was very pleased with the quality of the silk and the size and fit of these pillowcases. The quality seems better than a set from another company that I paid a lot more for.

these lost their softness and almost have a sticky feeling now and the stains never come out even makeup stains hard to care for wish they still felt like they did day one so not sure if it’s really silk?

I recently heard a lot about the benefits of silk pillow cases. Things like moderating skin temperature, rejuvenating skin, even hair. All in all, claims that 100% silk pillow case were beneficial for sleep. So, I ordered two 25mm Mulberry Silk Standard size pillow cases from Amazon (Fisher's Finery). Very expensive but was pleasantly surprised to not have to pay additional custom charges when the item arrived (int'l shipment). Also, I didn't have the experience of the item arriving packaged in a bag vs box. This one came in an elegant Fisher's Finery linen box (encased in a plastic bag). However, after trying the pillow cases for a few nights both my wife and I experienced sleep sweats (head/neck). I only sweat when I'm sick. Neither of us felt that our sleep quality was improved whatsoever since using the silk pillow cases. On the contrary.Our advice, stick to a high quality cotton pillow case (for half the price).

I doubt that this is actually 100% silk, especially after using it for a few weeks. I have about 4 other FF pillowcases, all ordered from their website. I wanted to save the shipping so bought one here and am not happy with the product.

Received the item with two holes in it. One on each side. So disappointed!The holes match on both sides.

When the product arrived, the beautiful high-end packaging had been ripped open (see image), the pillowcase had also been opened and then scrunched back in the box so it was completely wrinkled, and it had a stain! I don’t know if the company sent me one that had been returned? It seems like a beautiful pillow case. But for the high end price (I did lots of research and paid higher end price bc it had good reviews and it was a gift to an important person) - I was really upset

J'ai acheté cette housse d'oreiller pour les bienfaits vantés par la publicité sur les cheveux et sur la peau. Résultat: c'est tout a fait la même chose que sur les housses d'oreiller de coton, les cheveux ne glissent pas et leur aspect demeure le même . Quant à la peau rien du tout ne s'est passé. Je suis très déçue et c'est terminé pour moi d'acheter ce type de produit.
