Worked great until it was just out of warranty... then failed
Updating review: After having a service company look at it, they determined it most likely has a poor manufacturing process where the coolant leaked out. Furthermore, this unit uses BUTANE which few repair companies will rebuild (rebuilding costs more than the unit...) I've reached out to edgestar and will update my product review if they are helpful.---This has been a huge asset to our outdoor kitchen for a few years. Then it stopped cooling and I went to look at how to make a warranty claim - I can't because I bought it just over 3 years ago. Super lame and now I have to pay for a repair guy to come and fix it.

I wanted to love this product, but...
I wanted to love this product, but unfortunately the one I received was defective... when I first plugged it in, the compressor/fan fired up (it's very quiet) but then it stopped and I got a error 'E3' on the LED display. So I had to send it back. Having dealt with this product firsthand, I can say that it seems very well made. However, I will be getting a different beverage cooler because this one is too difficult for one person to move (e.g., inside and outside). This is important because only after receiving the product did I learn it's recommended to operate outside only when the temperature is 50-95 degrees Fahrenheit -- which in my location means I need to bring it inside for the winter. I will be buying another EdgeStar cooler because I was very impressed with the quality of materials and construction; however, I'll be buying a smaller one.

Door doesn’t close easily
The media could not be loaded. Looks nice but the refrigerator door doesn’t close easily. VERY FRUSTRATING. If you push too hard it bounces off and stays open. Or if you are to gentle it doesn’t seal completely. I’d give it 5 stars if the door closed better, or if the company fixes it for us. But otherwise, warm beers from a fridge door that is difficult to close is no-good.
