Nice basic mp3
This mp3 is a great basic device. The MP3 was a gift for a child who is not permitted to connect to WiFi or have a device with voice or video recording capabilities. It is not too difficult to use and you are still able to listen to all your favorite music, without needing an internet connection.

Defective.
I have 2 of these fitclips purchased from walmart. They are now 8 years old and still working. The battery is weakening on one of them so I wanted to buy a backup. So I know how they work. First they sent a yellow one labeled as purple. Don’t really care about the color, but it won’t turn on or charge or connect to computer. They are trying to unload some defective stuff here on Amazon.

Excellent value for certain purposes.
Excellent value for certain purposes. Spend a lot of time with my hands busy and mind bored so listen to books (mostly) and music. These are fine for that purpose. Load on a hour or 4 of info, broken up by Chapters (songs) and easy to jump from Chapter to chapter, tough to navigate more finely if even possible. Cheap enough that I don't care if it accidentally gets destroyed, rained on, smashed etc. Use constantly (12 hours a day switch between 2 units) Batteries start with about 8 hour playtime, last a little more than 6 months then down to an hour or so and I replace them. You can load much more info on them (4G) but screen is small (old eyes) for navigation .

Dies quickly
It worked for a couple days, but now it won't hold a charge. When it did work, sound quality was poor and really quiet, but it would have been manageable if it had kept working. Not worth the money for such a short life.

Simple MP3 Player with NO FM Radio
I wanted a simple MP3 player with no FM radio, and this is perfect. Small and easy to use. No Bluetooth; uses corded headphones.
