Boost Soothe Clear Nutritional Drink (Peach Mint, 8 Fl Oz (Pack of 3))

I stumbled upon this product when trying to compare weight gain and muscle strength for my Dad who's been losing weight and taste for food during his course with chemo treatments. I have not found any other product like this. It has not yet stimulated his taste. But, he still smokes though cutting back. He seems more drawn to drinking it when presented in a pretty glass. My shock is that I haven't found any oncologists, primary doctors, ENT's or pharmacists who are aware of it. Many types of Boost and Ensure products are on shelves. This particular Boost Soothe Clear in not sold in pharmacies. While I don't know if it will help him gain back his taste buds, calorie per calorie between weight gain ensure and other Boost products are the same, the nutrients are healthier in the Boost soothe. I have him drink the ensure as a desert drink. But, I make certain that he drinks at least 16 oz of Boost soothe daily

I had a tonsillectomy at age 35 (and was, by far, the most painful recovery from any surgery I've had) and these were amazing for the first couple of days when I couldn't really swallow anything. The taste was good and I really liked the cooling sensation on my mangled throat. My only complaint is that they're so freakishly expensive.

I ordered these for my grandma who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer they were a good replacement that provides a calorie intake. Especially when Ensure or other boost products are to heavy consistency wise.

Product arrived quickly. It is as described, and has a long shelf life. It isn’t thick which makes it easy for cancer patients to drink.

The product seems fine, just wondering why it came in a plain brown box and not the original packaging.

I did not like that flavor. I used it as a supplement.

My husband suffered from pancreatic cancer. He wouldn’t eat or drink anything but water because everything was either too sweet or too thick. The soothe was like Goldilocks “Just Right” for this reason a good choice for protein and calories after his treatments . He said they were refreshing.

Expensive but it’s very soothing for someone fighting esophageal cancer treatments, particularly the Peach mint. Shipping always says 2 months out but it has come sooner on occasion.
