To make this 318-page book stay open on your instrument, take it to Staples or Office Depot and have them put a coil binder on it. $7.50 and worth avoiding the aggravation. There are no liner notes, biography, or 3rd party interpretations, just the music, which I appreciate. There is more black on the pages than white, owing to its extreme complexity. The publisher was astute enough to print the book on cream-colored paper, making it easy on the eyes.

Weird version for Les Jeux d’eaux…
Take a look at the picture attached. How am I supposed to read the right-hand notes with the bass clef? Strange enough this notational mistake goes on for 9 pages. Can I have my money back?

Excellent selection
A wonderful chance for my Grandson to get to know more pieces, and practice his sight-reading.

Great for the Liszt fans
This book collection is perfect for those pianists who are looking for a challenge, as well as those Liszt fans. The book consisted of a variety of complex pieces (It is Liszt after all). Spiral binding is perhaps a better idea though since the book usually closes whilst I'm playing the pieces.

Good layout, not very accurate music
Whilst the book looks nice and the arrangement on the page is great with good bar spacings, there are quite a few mistakes in the music itself. Missing accidentals, octave markings etc… which was quite disappointing. There is also no fingering or any other editorial commentary at all (perhaps to be expected given the budget price).
