Great little charger that’s smart and efficient
The images show the unboxing and when I used the charger on my mower. The listing provides an accurate description and specifications of the charger. The charger is well made with an easy to read digital display and nice size ac & dc cables with battery clips that are more than adequate to connect to most batteries. The operation of the charger is very simple and easy, just connect it and either select which mode you want or let it automatically do it for you. I used it on my backup mower battery which has been subjected to harsh conditions while it was on loan for a couple of years. The charging system on the mower wasn’t working and when it didn’t get used anymore it sat in storage for a long period of time. When I recovered the mower and repaired the issues with it I charged the battery but it was in a weakened state but worked well enough to use the mower. Using the repair mode on this charger increased its state of health by 10% according to my battery tester and it now cranks and starts up better. I find this intelligent charger to be a great performer and recommend it!

Very easy to use! - but some slight annoyances
I'm a huge fan of the auto feature on this charger - but here's what I experienced.I connected this to a car's battery and the display indicated the battery was at 80% , but when I pushed the auto button and the charger started charging - the charging screen indicated 60% charged as the starting point for charging. The good thing though is - after a few hours the charge completed. And when I say - charge completed, I mean the display shut off while I was not around - so - all I know is that the display shut off.I then charged another car that we had left a trunk light on for 3 straight days, and I repeated the operation and the indications and results were similar. But - the bottom line here is that in both cases the car battery ended up fully charged and I'm happy.I have another charger, it has no digital display so this is a vast improvement over my old charger.I do think this is worth the price of admission - I like the display I like the results.

Great gift
I gave this to my sister as a birthday present. Her car battery kept dying. So I thought let’s be practical. She loves it. It charges her battery. Plus she has the option to jump. Start her car if needed.Sometimes when giving gifts, it’s best to gift something to keep people safe and practical would gladly gift this as a gift to family members or friends

Excellent
Works great. Nice little display letting you know battery status. I own 3 different Schumacher tenders. All work well, but decided to give this on a try. Very pleased.

Upping my rating from 2 to 3
I don't trust it to work independently. I have three of these, and one made a large AGM battery bubble and hiss, which may have damaged the expensive battery. Sending that one charger back. Other than that, they handle basic charging well.But:(1) When battery is FULL, the charger is supposed to maintain float voltage. There is a nice little chart in the owner's manual showing this. It does NOT do float/maintenance voltage -- it just stops charging. Customer Support confirms this, and does not seem embarrassed that their documentation and advertising is untrue. Their 6-stage charging is more like 2-stage.(2) Documentation says the charger cleverly identifies battery type and optimal charging rate. Not so. You manually select 2 amps, 8 amps, or "Lithium" (amps undisclosed), and it charges at whatever rate you set last, regardless of what battery you connect to. It DOES do a good job of sticking to your specified amperage.I wouldn't mind so much, if the advertising and product manual revealed this instead of hyping features that don't exist.
