I have worked with horses for 35 years now and over that time I have purchased countless work and riding boots. I can count around 10 pairs of Ariat boots currently in my closet, all different styles and have different "jobs". They are by far the best brand of boot I have ever bought. Yes, they can be pricey but when it comes to your feet, you have to be comfortable! And these fit the bill brilliantly! This is the 3rd pair of Telluride boots I have had and I cannot recommend them highly enough. These Telluride work boots arrived today and I am wearing them now at work. So comfortable and I am overjoyed at the fact they have a reinforced ( steel?) Toecap. So next time I get trodden on, it won't matter too much!! I have bunions on both my feet so finding a comfortable shoe is very hard. Ariat have never let me down yet! My boots are worn 8 hours a day, 6/7 days a week. My last pair lasted me 6 years and there is nothing wrong with them except they look pretty worn and do smell a bit. If you want a comfortable, waterproof, Hardy boot with toe protection, look no further. This is the boot for you!!

Very sturdy well made boot

I purchased a size 6.5 instead of a 6 by accident. Kind of glad I did because I can wear thicker socks with them. I think they are true to size though.I wore these straight off for a whole weekend, and they were really comfortable.I’m an equine photographer, so either lots of standing, lots of walking but generally very long days.I feel that they would keep my feet dry, and hoping with thick socks they should also keep my feet fairly warm.I’m glad they have the reinforced toe - working with horses you need toe protection!

Not sexy in the slightest but excellent working boots as always from Ariat.

These boots are rugged look good but i find them very heavy to wear and a little to wide for stirrup irons to feel safe

I am in love with these shoes! I work outside for a living and walk several miles a day and these boots are so durable. I used to buy keens religiously but they did not last long.... after about 3 months they would start to deteriorate but these Ariana have lasted several months and still look practically new and I am not easy on them. They have also seemed to retain the water resistance a lot longer than my keens did, without any extra sprays. I also want to make it clear that even though they have the composite toe, they are not heavy like other shoes I have worn with steel or composite toes, which is much appreciated.

I have worn these boots everyday for a construction job for the last two weeks and today was the last day, I can’t take anymore hip and leg pain. I even tried new insoles. There is no padding in the sole of the boots and that makes for a long day of tired feet. Don’t buy, I wish I could return worn boots.

These are just what I needed. They are true to size and very comfortable - I was a bit surprised how comfortable they were. They are worth every penny. I'll be wearing these for a long, long time.
