I like the shampoo, only wish it smelled fresh longer

Excelente shampoo para mi Yorkshire que es alérgico al pasto y este shampoo se lo recetó si veterinario. Es el mejor que he usado para calmar su alergia. Lo recomiendo no se van a repetir, ademas le deja su pelaje suave, brilloso y sedoso, toda la gente me pregunta con que shampoo lo baño por su brillo y suavidad.

This does not contain 4% chlorhexidine, if it did then it would have made my dog less itchy, smell less of yeast, and we would not have to wash more frequently. Yes this is what we've experienced thinking to save money on the large purchase of this gallon size of dog shampoo. We are forced to buy the smaller containers of the shampoo with identical listed ingredients as they are more effective in odor control which lasted us at least 1 week, made our dogs fur shine brighter, and definitely proved to prevent itching and locking constantly. This shampoo has turned out to NOT be as effective as claimed. Since our dog has these issues we have been able to compare and see the differences. We will no longer be purchasing this product, unfortunately.

I was paying 45 C$ with tax for a 16 ounce bottle of a different 4% shampoo from my vet.So that would be 360 C$ for an equivalent amount, just under US$ 300.With delivery to Canada and taxes also was about 105 C$ getting this from amazon, bottom line.Took a week.What was even better is that this shampoo produces a very good lather, which the more expensive brand did not, so it was easy to use a lot of it.Nice mild scent, and I will update after a couple of weeks as to how well it appears to be working.My golden has had chronic skin issues for over ten years. I have to bathe him often.Edit July 5: He is also on antibiotics for the time being, and the skin issues are 99% better, so I can't attribute that to the shampoo. But I am happy with it.

I've been using this product for several months now and it works great! My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel had a severe problem with body infections and the Vet prescribed a shampoo product with Chlorhexidine which was costly and not available without a prescription. I searched Amazon for a product with Chlorohexidine and found several, but only a few that had a gallon size. After reading the reviews, I decided to try the gallon size of the Vedco ChlorHex 2X 4% Shampoo, and I'm glad that I did. Initially, I gave my dog a bath every three days, and I could see that the sores were quickly healing and became fewer and fewer. Along with that, the body smell went away. After a month and a half, all of the sores were gone and I'm now bathe my dog every 5 days. His skin no longer has red spots and is clear and healthy looking. I will continue to use this product. It works great!

This product has relieved my dog’s skin allergies. The bug bites no longer bother her either!

This is the best shampoo for dogs

I bought this shampoo because my Doberman had developed some bumps on his back. I had been using the generic shampoo that you buy at Petco. His isse wasn't bad but he has a beautiful coat and I wanted the bumps GONE. ONE washing! They disappeared and his coat is awesome! I ran it by my Vet when he commented on how nice my Dobie looked. He said that it's the best for dogs who have reactions. I know it worked well for me. It was delivered quickly....really doesn't have much of a smell and doesn't lather up much, so I added some shampoo that does lather up. (to make me feel better) No more bumps! It has antibacterial properties that really make a dogs coat and skin nice!
