Maclaren Volo Stroller
I've been looking for a decent priced lightweight stroller for quite some time...and not only does this fit my criteria...it is very attractive...i just with there was more back support for my son. Other than that minor detail it's great...i use it way more than i use my son's stroller with car seat.

You can find better & cheaper elsewhere
Price is a bit high for what you get. Granted its light weight. II just wish it would recline. Plus the straps are always all twisted up.

BEST LIGHTWEIGHT STROLLER!
We purchased this stroller before our trip to Disney with our 3 year old because we wanted to have a quality lightweight stroller to use while facing crowds and nap times and we couldn't be happier! We have had several strollers including a Chicco and First Years and this one is by far the best. My daughter is very tall for her age and in other strollers her legs are far too long and she ends up constantly dragging her feet which drives mommy crazy and in the Maclaren the height was no problem she was comfy and maneuvering it through busy crowds was fabulous! The only complaint I have is the basket below is hard to get in and out of so I suggest packing light and definitely ordering 2 cup holders. Would definitely recommend!!

Horrible harness, way overpriced
The harness on our Volo failed, leaving my daughter stuck in the stroller. Of course, this happened when it was freezing cold outside. I ended up having to cut her out of the thing. Dealing with Maclaren customer service to get a replacement harness has been a nightmare. Even on a good day the harness is really difficult to release. Obviously it's designed this way to prevent children from opening it (which is a good thing), but it's often difficult for adults to open it as well. My fingers were bruised from pushing on it so hard trying to get her out the other day. For the price of this thing, it should be better designed and I should not be spending obscene amounts of time getting replacement parts. So now I have a stroller I can't use and no end in sight as to when it will be functional again. Really wish I'd gone with something cheaper.

i LOVE my Maclaren Volo Stroller
i LOVE my Maclaren Volo Stroller. I got it for the lightweight advantage and I also really liked the color. I've had the stroller for almost two years already and my only complaint is that the harness is really hard to adjust, I still havent figured it out. We use this stroller for my Three Year Old so it doesn't matter that the harness itsn't perfect. Great Product

Lightweight and great quality
After reading several reviews and researching other similar lightweight strollers, we are very pleased with our decision to purchase the Volo.

I finally "get it"
I've had this stroller for four years through two kids and was always a bit confused as to why this was the stroller I saw everywhere in NYC, Paris, etc. It doesn't recline (which I knew when I bought it, obviously) and although it says you can use it from 6 months and up, a smaller baby just sort of slumps down in the seat. Straps that can be adjusted more tightly would help. I had to tie a knot with the straps to get them to work at an early stage. So why am I now sold on the Volo? After years of using it just occasionally as my car stroller, we took it to Disney World for our 2 year old to sit in. I was glad we didn't bring a bigger stroller like the Joovy Ultralight Caboose we were considering taking because we had to fold it down and hold it on the shuttle buses we took from park to park. My 4 year old wound up wanting to ride in it a lot, and it held her with our 2 year old on her lap (combined 65 pounds) fine. It also held my almost seven year old niece. In the airport, I was able to hang a child's suitcase from the handle and push it with one hand with my 40 pound 4 year old inside. This thing is indestructible. I finally get it. If you're going to be rough on your stroller and don't want the frame to buckle or the fabric to rip, and you want to be able to fold it up quickly and carry it easily, then you should seriously consider this stroller. I got mine on sale at BRU four years ago . . . definitely worth the investment!

Supports head, wide enough, and lightweight!
I love this sturdy stroller for my 5 1/2 year old daughter who is above average height and weight at 50 pounds because all the other strollers don't support her head. This one does when the sunshade is attached via the velcro at the back of the seat. The Volo is also wide enough in the shoulders to accommodate her comfortably. A 5-year-old doesn't always need to or want to sit in the stroller, and the Volo's carrying strap and mere 8 1/2 pounds makes carrying it so simple! We tried out LOTS of strollers both less and more expensive and this was also her favorite. It rolls easily and folds and opens without having to bend over to the ground. I am 5'5" and 130 pounds and I can manage it easily. My feet don't hit anything when pushing it. It is very compact when folded up. The storage underneath is adequate and is unobstructed when she is sitting in it. I rated it a 4-star because adding the accessories helps with the missing parent console and adds storage to the back for packages or coats and drinks. The Maclaren Volo stroller is still a great value.I added 4 accessories to it, 3 from Babies R Us:Sunshine Kids Spacemaker [...] $1Babies R Us Stroller console [...] $11.99 w/20% off couponBabies R Us Rain cover [...] $11.99 w/20% off couponMaclaren has an add-on cup holder, if you are looking for that type of accessory. Amazon has it for $11.95 Maclaren ADN31012 Cup Holder Charcoal Even with the console attached, the stroller folds up easily and is still very lightweight. I think it's perfect for long shopping days in the city, vacation, Disney, traveling, the zoo, and long walks in the park. For everything else, she can and should walk! lolIt is also works perfectly for my 3-year-old so be assured your child will be able to use it for a long time.
