My silky wire hair gets matted and requires regular brushing. The furminator works well, but something more gentle. Works well and is gentle.

Perfect for the Pomeranian

I have a little yorkie and this brush is just great for brushing the tangles right out of his coat, without stressing my dog. Now he lets me brush him without complaining. I would have preferred it if the head of the brush were just a little larger. Well worth the price.

Works great for my 8lbs pup

This is a perfect size as a detail brush for face, legs, ears and tail on my toy poodle. He tolerates it a lot better than a comb.

Brush handle is a bit large for a small brush but beware if your pet sheds fur, the memory gel handle is STICKY and the fur sticks to it like crazy, then transfers to the fur and makes it impossible to get off your hands! Would be so much better if it had a standard rubber or plastic handle.

I gave it to someone, thinking it was the same I bought before, but this handle is cheap plastic, while the one I bought before was metal.

We use this on our miniature dachshund, and it's awesome. I found larger brushes pulled at too much hair at once, and he hated getting brushed. This just takes a small chunk at a time, so doesn't pull so bad. It's also much easier to get into tight spots like his little armpits. He's gotten much calmer and receptive to being brushed using this. I also have not had any issues with the gel handle oozing anything; maybe that will happen later but it's good so far.
