I loved the lights but 2nd year they quit working after 2 days

they are nice but I have ordered already about + 5 units of these lights which light nice and change illumination mode nicely but so far 3 of them with issues.. one got fully burned, one other with some bulbs broken, and another one with missing parts .. not good.

Update 3: The seller contacted me regarding my issues with the severed wires and, despite this issue not necessarily being the fault of the seller or due to a faulty product, they have replaced the strand of lights with a new one. The replacement even came with a nice storage bag.As mentioned earlier, I do like these lights quite a bit and am hopeful that whatever caused the wires to break (wind or an animal), it was an isolated incident and that I won't have any issues next year. You can be confident that this seller stands behind their products.Update 2: Upon inspecting the broken strand of lights, I found that two of the wires were severed. I don't know if this was from a squirrel, or if the wind cause it to rub on something, but the two of the three wires were completely severed. The good news is that the lights didn't just die, but the bad news is that the paper thin plastic sheathing and wires didn't last very long. I spliced the two wires together, and now all but about 3 feet worth of lights are working again. I'll give it 2 stars...while the lights worked fine, they really didn't hold up very well.Update: I had two strands connected in series running around the perimeter of my roof. After one month, the first strand has died. The lights are so dim that you can't even see that they are on. The second strand is still fine, so I know the power is flowing through the first, but the lights aren't working any more. Very disappointed. Dropping rating to 1 star.I bought two strands of these for our roof, and they're working as advertised! I've connected the two strands, and I've only noticed one bulb not working, but all others are bright and look great.I gave these a 5 star rating, but my one complaint is that the program settings are a not obvious. You can cycle through the different programs (solid, slow blink, fast blink, twinkle, fade, etc.) by pushing a button, which is easy enough, but I didn't see anything that actually told me what the settings are. It would be nice to include a flyer that tells you what the settings are, or even some sort of indicator on the controller that tells you whether your'e on setting 1, 2, 3...etc.But besides that, they're working great.

I originally purchased these lights to decorate the deck this Christmas. Unfortunately my husband never got around to putting them up so I decided to Utilize them for the tree instead of untangling the mess of the lights I had in storage from last year.I absolutely love these. I am now planning to hang them in the spring and keep them as a permanent Lighting fixture for our summer parties.The shade of green matched the Pineneedles perfectly and will be a close match to our vinyl decking material.they have so many fun color configurations. I especially love the white; it’s a subtle hue, calming and cozy. And the colorful settings are very Christmasy. The remote control is really handy and extremely compact. I decided to attach it to the side of my couch with velcro so we don’t lose it.Overall I am more than happy with this choice. I probably will buy another set to utilize it’s lengthening capability. totally worth the price.

Did not like the fact that they only lasted less than a year. Used them for decoration around the pool enclosure.
