After several tries to get a dish that will slow my cats down with the dry food, I have found one that works! They have free access to dry food. We have 8 cats, all rescues and all are eating from this dish. Several other dishes had to be sent back. My gobbler comes to see me to chat when the food gets very low but I have found he will still use it after he lets me know it's not his favorite idea for eating. There was a lot of regurgitating going on before we found this dish and it has all but stopped since we bought it. We ordered a second and feel that it is big enough for two and even three to eat at once if necessary. Two dishes are working for the eight cats (they get wet food at night each with their own dish.) We have the dishes on silicon mats and there is no problem with movement. I know they will likely shatter if dropped, being ceramic, but looks well made and I am please with the product. I think it is good that the cats can 't write there own review as I think they prefer bingeing and purging but they are all still purring and loving us.

I bought this for one of my three cats to be able to slow his eating down, and be able to feed him less. I have another cat that eats til he pukes, and I need to feed them small frequent meals to get weight back on him. This caused my other kitty to gain weight. The slow feeder worked great at getting my big boy to lose the two pounds.Now that his eating slowed down the youngest one is stealing food from him. So now he gets a slow feeder too.

Bought this because my cat eats too fast. It is the perfect solution. He actually has to work at getting his food and solves the problem of fast eating. Highly recommend

I have two cats, one who is small and submissive and one who is larger and is a bit of a bully around food. The larger one tries to eat his food quickly so that he can steal the smaller one’s food, even if they are separated by significant space. In order to slow him down, we put his food in this slow feeder and the smaller one’s food in a regular bowl. It takes him up to 20 minutes to clean his bowl, leaving plenty of time for the small cat to finish in a calm manner. Less stressful for everyone! It also gives him a lot of problem solving to work through, which stimulates his brain. He is totally focused on his food and the puzzle until the food is gone.

I have a cat who gets acne if fed from plastic so was very excited to see a ceramic slow feeder bowl. This one is perfect. It holds enough kibble for my multicat household and looks very nice. Great quality, good value. Love it.

Solid ceramic construction and ability to clean in dishwasher top rack is a big plus. It has significantly reduced our two year old cat's previous near-daily scarf and barf routine. We've noticed that the larger head and tail cavities within the dish can pose a bit of an issue as there's not room for the kibble to push around like the other areas. We still use those cavities but definitely don't fill them to the brim. Overall, very happy with the dish and suspect we'll dial-in to zero scarf and barf episodes soon.

Its exactly as advertised and was packaged neatly and safely. Came in without an issue and the bowl is the perfect size for what we needed. In the image I attached has 1/2 a cup of food. I love how large it is to allow for space while still maintaining a slow feed. I use to use the outward brand small slow feeder and the zip zags were so small. While it worked great for a while I thought it was time for an upgrade. So this is great, super cute, sleek, and a good weight that it won't move.

My cat used to finish his foods in 10 seconds. This bowl makes him to move around, so it helps to make him to finish his meal bit slow. Good buy.

Für unseren Welben (Bernersennen) leider nicht zu empfehlen, Futterreste bleiben in den Spalten und der Hund kommt da nicht so richtig mit seiner Zunge ran. Für andere Hunde mag's vielleicht gut sein. Leider Fehlkauf unsererseits, dennoch Hochwertiges Produkt....

Der Napf ist vllt. etwas zu groß für eine Katze, das hat aber auch einen Vorteil : das Futter verteilt sich noch mehr und er braucht sehr lange um alles raus zu bekommen. So kann unsere andere Katze in Ruhe fressen und ist meist auch noch vor ihm fertig.Reinigen lässt sich der Napf auch sehr gut, einfach in der Spülmaschine. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und haben endlich entspannte Katzen die ohne Bodyguard fressen können.
