Great air purifier
Good value for the price! Very easy to use, right out of the box. Quiet. It shows the air quality by the color of the light on the unit. Small footprint, fits easily anywhere. I like the ability to adjust the fan to low or high settings, and to adjust the timing from 1 hr, 2h, 4 hr, or 8 hr. Also, a very important additional feature not available on all air purifiers is the ability to add your own fragrances or essential oils to the removable pads to act as a diffuser, as well. It purifies 500-1000 sq feet of air so it is a relatively large area of coverage. It has a replaceable HEPA filter which lasts for up to 2000 hours of operation. The filter is easily replaced. I put this unit on one end of our house, in our kitchen/dining room area and I love it. It covers the living room/family room area sq footage as well. In fact, I like this air purifier so much that I ordered another one today to cover the other end of our home where our bedrooms and bath are located. Placing it in the hallway in that area will provide more than adequate coverage to purify all the air in our home.

Cleans The Air Everywhere
I decided to buy an Air Purifier because I have a lot of old books which tends to give off Old Musty smells depending on the humidity. I also deal with seasonal sinus, and breathing problems. After hours of Careful Comparing, and thorough research I decided on the Himox Air Purifier. I couldn't be more pleased, I absolutely love it. First thing that impressed me is the Sleek Beautiful Compact Design of the machine, it's not too small, yet, not too big. The machine is light in weight that can be moved anywhere. This machine sure packs a punch, and covers a lot of space. It provides vertical, cyclonic air pressure that purifies, and recycles bad air. The result is clean, fresh, odor free air. This machine has illuminated Virtual Control Buttons. This machine has a Color Illuminated Indicator that changes based on the quality of your air that you can turn on or off. This Machine has 4 Air Purifying Modes, Low, High, Sleep, Auto. You can apply Aromatherapy Oils inside this machine too (haven't used yet). It has a beeping indicator to alert when it's time to change the filter. The filter is very easy to install (bottom casing, switch). It comes with a filter, just remove the plastic and insert. It has a child Safety switch ( hold for few seconds). Another plus I've noticed is that it will lower the Air Temperature while cleaning it. The Air Filters for this machine are reasonably priced. Since I've had this machine, the oders have been neutralized, the air is significantly cleaner. This machine have helped my allergies and breathing significantly, I have stopped sneezing, and my eyes no longer itch. I highly recommend getting this Himox Air Purifier, you will not regret it. The only regret I have is not getting it sooner.

Great Air Purifier; Good Value
This air purifier does a great job. It is quiet and attractive. We love the options, with automatic or manual high/low and sleep modes, with multiple time adjustment settings. Really like the perfume sponges that allow you to add aromatherapy oils. We have used the unit in the bedroom and a large great room, and are pleased with the performance in both areas. We can tell a real difference in the air quality.

Not Sure What to Think...Yet.
UPDATE 02/22/2022 - I was just about to hit "send" on this review...but something told me I should probably check Amazon real quick and order more filters, since I've burned through SO MANY of them...guess what? "Out of Stock." I'm not buying all the crap we're being told about a massive lack of supply for almost everything...I just don't. While I'm keenly aware that this "problem" doesn't even "rate" in the grand scheme of things, it's still frustrating. If you're also an allergy sufferer, you know what I'm talking about...and Spring IS right around the corner. To finish my UPDATE, I should also say that in addition to checking on the filter replacements, I ALSO checked for the purifier itself, to see if the listing happened to mention any filters that are compatible with their model. To my surprise (not really), it looks like they aren't even selling THIS MODEL of the purifier anymore...unbelievable. So, it appears I'll be OUT about $500 worth of something that can't even be used anymore. MY ADVICE: Do your research and order wisely, AND at your own risk...I'm an allergy sufferer...all my life. I've had air purifiers for most of my adult life, ranging from excellent (super expensive) to adequate (less expensive) to not really sure, which is where I am today. I purchased 3 of these purifiers last April, for a move I was preparing for. I didn't actually begin USING them though until the end of August/beginning of September, as there was some cosmetic work still being done and I wasn't sleeping there yet. Based on the great reviews I'd read, I was excited to get these purifiers and ready to love 'em. So far, I can tell you THIS, which is based on the following:First, I have an open concept Kitchen / Living Room which is roughly 600sf, combined. My Bedroom is roughly 250sf. I had placed 1 purifer in my Bedroom; 1 purifier in the Living Room (of the combined Kitchen / Living Room) and the final purifier in the Kitchen area. Since these purifiers are marketed as: "cleaning the air 5 times per hour at high speed and ideal for 500 to 1324 sf," I thought I was covered MORE than adequately.PRO'S: These models are reasonably priced, especially given their marketing "capabilities"; they're also quite attractive and would blend in quite well in almost any environment; I run ALL 3 of my units 24/7, on HIGH SPEED (again, bad allergies) and even on "HIGH," the noise isn't bothersome to *ME. *However, I lived in Manhattan for 10-years and am pretty well accustomed to 'white noise.' But, if you're someone who's extremely sensitive to noise, you'd probably be fine using the lower speeds. I love the functionality of the purifiers - they allow you to set a timer (1H, 2H, 4H, 8H or continuous); you can "lock" the unit (in case you have inquisitive little-people putting their mitts on everything in sight); they have a "change filter" button with an alarm that signals when it's time to change your filters (it'll also flash blue); and I like how the purifier will change colors, red, green, blue, depending on the condition of the air being cleaned. Each purifier comes with one filter, and a little card instructing you to register your unit online, which activates a one-year warranty. In addition to the warranty, it also promises one free additional filter, a Birthday gift, a Christmas gift and an opportunity to sell these units part-time with their company. Who doesn't like a free gift, am I right? I think it's a great marketing strategy though, and I do appreciate getting a free filter. When I purchased my purifiers, I also purchased an additional 6 filters, which I was HOPING might get me close to a year. This is where the part that leaves me unsure comes in. I'm pretty good in the housekeeping department, partly because of my allergies. But my house, built in the 50's, is pretty dusty, in spite of my best efforts. As I've said, I've had various purifiers over the years and the more expensive models do a GREAT JOB at removing dust from the air, in addition to whatever other pollutants are being removed. Many of the reviews for these purifiers mentioned they also did a great job at removing dust from the air. When I began using these units, I started with the filters that came with each unit. When the filter timer sounded (and flashed) I removed the filter and was REALLY surprised to see that they looked EXACTLY THE SAME as when they were removed from their original packaging. I didn't expect my filters to last as long as the marketing suggests, simply because I run mine 24/7, which I don't believe they base the marketing on. I was okay with not getting quite as many miles off of it, as long as it was doing a good job. I've used purifiers long enough to know that HEPA filters can and do filter/absorb down "into" the filter, so I thought "ok, maybe they still look brand new because all of the pollutants are being trapped down inside of the filter," assuming there may be some new HEPA filter technology I wasn't aware of. So, I popped a new filter in and disposed of the others. This time, I decided to check them after a short period, just to see if maybe there was somehow more being captured now, as if they needed some time to 'warm up.' They were still as white as snow. So I put it back in and waited, but the results were the same. So now I'm thinking, "maybe I'm just such an awesome housekeeper that there isn't anything "visible" being captured." Stupid? Yes. Now we're onto my final set of filters. In hindsight, I really wish I had just saved the filters and returned them. Not sure why I didn't, possibly a case of CRLS (COVID-Related-Lazy-Syndrome). So these last filters have been in for just about one-month...yesterday, I checked them. Imagine my shock when I saw that they ALL had visible dust covering the exterior surface of the filter. Now it was NOWHERE NEAR what I thought it would be, but it's only been one-month. At this point, I think that either the other filters were just NOT well-made or were defective, OR the purifier is. My guess is that it's filter related, since the 3rd time really DOES appear to be a charm. At least, in this case.To summarize, a nice looking product that has all the bells and whistles you should ever need in a reasonably priced air purifier. But beware the faulty filter...if the same should happen to you, after removing YOUR first filter, remember me...and remember the CRLS. Don't wait until it happens to you. Save your filter and RETURN IT. It'll save you your sanity, and about $150.00.
