This is a sturdy and attractive towel bar. I am overall happy with it, however there were some darker areas on it that I don't think will come off. They aren't very noticeable, but I still would prefer a perfect part. USE THE TEMPLATE WITH CAUTION -it will probably steer your wrong and your spacing will likely be off. You could just measure 9" and make two level marks on the wall, then measure where the other two holes go. Lastly, the fitting is pretty sensitive and did not go on perfectly flush with the wall (probably due to slightly being off), but it looks fine.

this towel rack is nicely built and comes with good anchors and hardware, the problem is that the template is WRONG! The template is off by an 1/8". The tolerance on this fixture is only about 1/32" for the fixture to actually be mounted (very tight) and only 1/64" for it to actually flush mount perfectly. That is impossible to do with a template that is that incorrect. This template was not QC'd before it was published. Had the template been correct, this product would have gotten a 5 star rating from me all day long

Bought this to replace the cheap, standard 12" dish towel rack at the end of our newly renovated wet bar/kitchenette area. It matches the new cabinet pulls and the handle of the new single handle bar sink faucet we installed. It is very sturdy and looks great. Was looking for a 12" bar but this was the only smaller than 18" bar I could find in this style. FYI, the 9" is the measurement from the center of one support rod to the other. The actual bar is 11.5" long and the distance between the support rods available for hanging a towel is 8 1/4" so only one towel fits. That works for us.

Put this in my kitchen to replace an old bar. As stated many times the included template is really useless. It's folded so many times that you have to stretch it out to the point of tearing it to get it to even come close to being accurate and no way are you going to be able to tape it to the wall being stretched that much. I put it up the old fashioned way of just using a tape measure (warning, there is no margin for error drilling those holes, you better be dead on). The company should use a full size unfolded template to fix this issue. The diameter of the bar is also smaller than the picture shows which was good for me. It looked too thick in the picture. Bar looks nice installed but I wouldn't pay the price for it again. The price was a bit too steep and I wouldn't install anymore of them (without a working template).

a short towel rack is hard to find, so I was very happy when I came across this one. I was disappointed that the template was off a fraction of an inch. I had read other reviews before purchasing this item and saw a few complaints about that issue. I was hoping mine would be correct, but it wasn't. I just took the difference into consideration when using the template and got it mounted on the wall just fine. I want to thank the other reviewers for their insight so I was prepared for this template problem. That is why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5. Otherwise it is a great towel rack for a small space.

Installed this attractive heavy-duty residential towel bar 5yrs. ago in our small bathroom which at times gets steamed, due to taking hot showers. Towel bar currently shows no corrosion/rust or stains whatsoever. Just received the same towel bar to add another in our bathroom. This heavy-duty stainless steel towel bar will not disappoint.

It matches the hardware in my RestRoom it is worth every penny! It’s beautiful, substantial easy to install... extremely Sturdy... I love it!

I like this towel bar a lot. As other reviewers have noted this is a hard size to find in stores. This one came with drywall anchors so it feels solid on the wall (for all my heavy hand towels!).My only complaint is that it was difficult for me to install. It took a surprisingly long time to get the bar set on the base that is screwed into the wall. It could just be me... I've installed a few things, but am not a pro by any means. But the template that came with it fit well, and overall the product was high quality. I did eventually get the item installed, so I assume my problems were just user error or me trying to do it from an awkward angle.Overall good product at a good price. I'd recommend it, even with my installation issues.

The size is just what I wanted. It's compact for a facecloth. It is brushed bronze, and I would have really liked it if it was shiny, as my other accessories. In saying that, it does not look out of place, so I am happy with it. The only fault is the screws are so tiny, and underneath, so I really couldn't see what I was doing when tightening it on the wall. I finally gave up and turned it upside down so I could tighten the screws easier. You really can't tell it is upside down, unless you look at it really closely. I have it a year now, and the finish is in perfect condition. I gave it a 4 star rating because of the difficulty with the tiny screws.

This looks really nice in person. I ordered it because it was the right size (9") and the price was great (I paid $12.00 on Amazon Prime!), figuring it would be mostly covered up so I wasn't going to worry about the color (which was not my first choice). I actually can't believe this was so cheap because it is a solid, quality product, and the color is really nice - not brassy, not gold (it's hard to tell from the picture). I got it for a dish towel rack for my kitchen, and the color is very similar in tone to my butcherblock island top. I'm very happy with my purchase!
