Don’t get the Light
I dont know what the difference is from the original, but don’t buy the “light”. To get any chocolate, malt, or flavor at all, you have to use five or six heaping teaspoons, plus add some sugar, so it defeats the purpose. The original is probably better, but I haven’t tried it. Not sure if it is worth the price.

Not a Substitute for Carnation Chocolate Malted Milk
I've been buying Carnation chocolate malted milk powder for several years to flavor my coffee, but not only has it become hard to find on local store shelves, but more recently the prices have skyrocketed from $11 for a 3-pack, to nearly $40 now! I suspect it has to do with grain prices and the war in Ukraine, but since that price is so ridiculous, I looked for a similar substitute and came across this Horlicks stuff, which I had never tried before.Unfortunately, Horlicks not only does not taste the same as Carnation malted milk, it does not taste good. There is a prominent taste of cardboard with this powder. It's drinkable, I guess, but just barely. I do not plan to purchase again. If prices on the Carnation powder do not return to normal, I'll have to just figure something else out, as this Horlicks stuff doesn't cut it.

Schmeckt sehr gut!
Horlicks hatte ich vorher noch nicht gekannt und mir dann einfach mal bestellt. Ich liebe den Geschmack von Malz und bin auch von Horlicks sehr begeistert. Als Alternative zu Ovomaltine oder warmer Milch trinke ich nun auch gerne Horlicks.

Muss man mit Vanille Eis probieren.
Ich streue das Zeug auf Vanille Eis oder in Milchshakes und es gibt ein süßes malziges Geschmack. Es erinnert mich an Mumme aus der Mumme Bude in Braunschweig währen der Weihnachtszeit.

Genau so wie ich es aus England kenne :)
Als Kind habe ich es schon geliebt. Nun hier wiederentdeckt. Meine ganze Familie steht drauf, allerdings kennen wir es von früher. Hat sich im Geschmack überhaupt nicht verändert. Yummi !!!! Der Versand ist recht teuer, daher lohnt es sich gleich mehrere zu bestellen. Wird auf jeden Fall wieder gekauft.

Lecker
Sehr malzig im Geschmack, erinnert etwas an Maltesers. Uns schmeckt es sehr gut, auch wenn (unnötig) viel Zucker darin verarbeitet ist.
