Product looks as pictured
My four strips arrived in clear plastic bag. I did not expect that. I thought I would see a pretty cake box with all the images on it as listed in the advertisement. However, they are as pictured. I have not yet tested them out, but will give an update once I do. I have been in search of the best yellow cake batter recipe, and discovered that I would need these to bake the perfect level cake. I had the best yellow cake that I have ever tasted at my wedding, but my mean and self-centered wedding planner, whom my now ex-husband hired (a dear friend of his), will not provide me with the cake bakers name, who made this wonderful taste. Everyone at the wedding love it! I just have to figure out what the secret is to making the best yellow batter cake taste so delicate and yummy!

Works as described
The strips help to level the cake. The only critique is that it's difficult to keep the strips on the pan. I added magnets to mine. I also considered adding velcro strips. My cake definitely came out more leveled than it normally does. I didn't have to cut the top off to level it.

Not a good fit for 9x9" square pan
I'm new to the cake thing and didn't know much about this type of product. I assumed it would have velcro, but it just has a couple of belt loops (because of heat...duh!) I have square 9x9 enameled pans with slightly sloped sides, and these just slide right off. I can't actually see that they would stay on any pan without straight sides because they can't be cinched tight. I haven't been able to try baking with them, so I can't say if they would improve my cakes, or how different they might be from Wilton.

A must have
Ok, so I was very skeptical about buying these even though the reviews were good. But I went ahead because all my cakes seem to rise in the center. Well I’m so glad I did, my cakes are now perfect and no rise in the centers. I definitely recommend buying these.

Not what I was expecting...
I was extremely excited to use these. They wouldn’t stay up on any of my pans. So they kind of just sat on the oven rack over the pans as the cakes cooked. It did not help my cakes at all. The edges were still “normal” and more hardened like usual and the top was not flat. So everything these things claimed they would do, they did not.

The convenience is worth it.
I had been using terry cloth strips. These are a big improvement. No stray threads, no browning of the cloth. Easy

helps on most baking
like to color but will change after use. It worked great on my cakes but did not work on my cheesecake. still had the cracking on top and to go back to water in bottom of pan.

Cake pan strips
Finally, cake layers that can be stacked and not have frosting fill in the sides! Can’t believe I never knew of this baking trick.
